  1. If zone 1 enable is off, how can you hear anything on zone 1?

The only way to hear something on zone 1 when it is off is if you are using the phrase sequencer (not arpeggiator) to play back a phrase. Do you know the difference?

None of the controls will work on a zone if it is off.

It's actually a handy way to apply the controls to some of the zones but not all: you can quickly turn a zone off, use the controls to apply some effect and then turn the zone you turned off back on again.

I have a stage setting here and I just loaded a phrase in the arpeggiator, set it to fix and then let it play in hold mode. Then I set slider 1 to only control the volume on zone 1 and it works fine.

Can you upload your stage setting here and I'll have a look at it?

  2. I think it's an ALL file where the stages settings are in an alternative order: Pianos are in bank 1, EPs in bank 2 and so on. With the original you get a mix in each bank. It won't load automatically. IIRC, you hold down the media button on the right and then look for an option to Load All or something like that. The file does need to be in a MUSICDAT folder on your usb key.

  3. It could be my pedal but has anyone else discovered that if they are changing what effect a pedal does, and perhaps scrolling through the list or modifying parameters with the pedal depressed then it will totally mess up the output like effects carry over or down is now up etc. Seems like a simple fix in the code somewhere to just clear the previous effect properly and ignore whether the pedal is down or up. Could be just my pedal though. It's not a major grievence but it happens a lot to me as I am testing out effects to put on the pedal or changing params. I have to remember to take my foot completely off the pedal, change something and then try it out.

  4. Yeah that would be great. One other thing, and I'm not asking people to do this as I would probably forget myself but it would be helpful to include any instructions/guide for the stage setting to be included as a text file with the same name as the stage setting so people don't have tons of stage settings in a folder but can't remember what way to use them or what they do, maybe even a demo too.

I've been downloading a lot them recently so I started copying the user-text from the download pages and saving them as txt files but I only managed to do it for all the official ones because there are just too many user ones. I started saving the full html page instead.

  5. you certainly did. I was just looking at the list of them yesterday as I want to download and play with everything everyone has taken the time to upload and you've certainly uploaded tonnes of them.

  6. so best is to try out a PX5 at you local store...

and be aware it's very editable and their are a number of tweaked versions available for download on the forum including ones offer a narrower dynamic range. For some players, the dynamic response may seem too wide or difficult to control.

  7. yeah not really music related. It is audio related though and pretty cool.

With Casio Yamagata’s Logosease, divers can communicate with one another as if they’re walking on dry ground. You can just face your fellow divers and talk to them normally.

Basically, it modulates any human voice into ultrasonic waves. All you need to do is tap just once to begin transmitting. And then you can speak into the bone conduction microphone and tap again when you’re done talking. Your diver friends will receive the ultrasonic waves which will be demodulated into clear audible voice by their Logosease unit.

  8. Interesting. That's roughly the price for low-end quality headphones but I expected them to be half that price, just because Casio seem to be able to beat everyone on price while still making quality gear so that makes me think these are a bit better than low-end and might sell for twice that from a different manufacturer. I do like the way they bend and the fact they are metal if that's true.
