Hi all, I have owned a Celviano AP450 for about four years now and am very happy with it on the whole but there is a little niggle which I try to ignore but it does get to me especially when playing slow ballad time music,

The octave above middle c sometimes the next c  and d up just have no continual sound and don't ring on as they should sounding quite dull, I remember reading a complaint on here quite a while back with someone having a similar complaint in the top of that range model and ended up sending it back to the shop and buying another make of piano.

Before I bought this I tried a PX3A I believe it was with the same piano sounds and the same complaint, I sent it back to Casio and they found no fault but when speaking to the owner of the shop where I bought it from he thought it was a sampling problem which I agree with because transposing the keyboard take the bad notes down or up so it is not the key.

Has anyone else experienced this and has anyone played the PX870 as this is said to have new piano sounds so should't have the problem.

Update, after pressing the audio recorder button repeatedly and quickly I got the two lights to come on, then it worked as it should.

Hi, Thanks for your quick reply to my question,  I did rear that in the book but when I press  the audio recorder button nothing happens ie no more lights come on, the only lights lit in that area are the two track lights under the song recorder button. ?

Hi, I have been trying to copy what I recorded to my AP450 song recorder to a usb key drive as a audio file.   Did you succeed in doing this please.

Hi, Did you mean save a recording you have created on the piano to the usb stick as an audio file, I  have been attempting  this this on my AP450 but the instructions are a bit vague to say the least.

Hi, I owned a PX320 for a few years and there is a slot for a sd card in the upper casing. I recorded about 20 songs on this but depending on what size card you have it is virtually unlimited.

Once recorded just plug the card into any windows computer and double click the files to play them.

Hi all, I usually play my PX360 through a Alto Kick 12 amp and this really gives it some bottom end.

I tried plugging in a headphone jack but it doesn't seem to make much difference to the sound apart from losing the monitoring affect of the built in speakers.
