Jokeyman,
Here is a little tune I wrote and the bass player is my friend from LA.
The drums are from Logic x
Paul Bushnell on bass

I also use Logic X and utube Drums
and The phrased piano is logic’s Wurlitzer 🎹

Jokeyman. I beg borrow or steal drum loops or write them myself. I didn’t write that one.
The bass and piano are always mine except for a very famous bass player from LA
who is a friend of mine from back in my drinking days that plays on some of my original tracts.
I always mix an electric piano Wurlitzer with the grand piano and just push up the volume till the grand cuts through enough if you see what I mean. It’s just that I like the softness of the Wurlitzer and the “edge” and harmonics of the grand.
once I have the groove from the drums then it gives me the incentive to play.

My private plane is running out of ⛽️ petrol now I’ve landed in Hawaii
But it’s nice here.(an extended version for Mr. F.)

I'm writing a solemn tune today ...the strings are using up my brain power, not that I have much to spare
I have never wanted to be rich and famous
and the plan has worked very well so far!

I’d be delighted to hear your version
you would be the first person on the planet earth 🌍 to play one of my tunes ⭐️⭐️

If you set out to make me smile, Hugh, it worked, 😁👍! So congratulations to you! I think only someone who can feel real happiness on a deep level can convey that to another, like through music. I envy you, Hugh. 😂
Would you send me an email please hughokelly@gmail.com

Cool, Hugh, 👍! I sense a little anger in your usually sunny fun grooving. Getting tired of the virus too, eh. Time to kick some virus tail! 😠!
Here is a sweet one because I know what is coming -

I only know a about the PX5s and there is still a lot to learn.
I used a synth sound,2 Clavinets and sax.
On Facebook in the Casio PX5s and 560 site is an explanation of how I got the Wah wah sound. But the vocal sound works well when it’s down a few octaves
Not bad eh ?
I just noticed
Brad gave you a lovely explanation

Yeah,if you notice when I start playing there is no sign of a theme. But then one seems to appear.

Thank you ,as always you complement.
I literally just sat down and played without thinking at all and pushed record on the memory stick and that’s what I played. Five minutes later I tried to do it again but it simply didn’t work. It only seems to work when it’s spontaneous.
Thanks
