Thanks. Unfortunately I turned it off and tried to restart.  I am pooched!  I  forgot all the dire warnings on firmware updates that I really didn't need.  Now I remember why I never tried to update it previously.

After years owning this unit and resisting firmware updates because of the danger of bricking it,  I finally tried updating the XW-P1  this morning with F/W 1.11 and bricked it. I assume I'm pooched now after reading these old discussions with no solutions.😔
