  1. I'm sorry rich I'll go over here Bug List (Found so far) 1-Preload memory of 30mb is small and if used in full hangs factory sounds. 2-Disappearance of sample instrument notes as well as whole ZDR kits. 3-Changing Rhythms does not change the BPM and has to change through the Time buttons. (For me it is a defect that should be corrected) 4-If you create ZTN with loops there is usually the possibility of having artifacts even using Croosfade Loop. 5-Record Memory does not save INTRO VARIATION for rhythm change. 6-Save All does not work well forcing you to save ZTN one by one. Improvements 1-MZ does not allow you to create rhythm with variations with different BPM. 2-When you stop pacing at a variation of 4 and activate the START button it goes to variation 1. (Bug or improvement?) 3-Rhythm editing could have a filter to increase volume only from a specific note ex (Volume lower (0-127) on all C4) 4-Big TIME screen when there is change of time by the buttons. 5-Stop rhythm with Start activated for left hand pickup. (Stopping the Rhythm and pressing STAR SINC Button requires precious time in the performances) 6-Creation of Variations with Major Minor and Seventh chords. 7-Note ON OFF mode for ZTN (Looping Guitars)
  2. Let's look at parts Little commenting because the people who read this forum have nothing to do with product development and can not force the issue with Casio in Japan. The USA and other sales companies can let the manufacturer know about issues, but those issues should first be brought up with direct communications with the local sales company, not here on a user forum. Many communications are being made here at Casio Brazil via email. But no answer. Depend on Casio Japan I would think manufacturers and sales companies would have dedicated staff to plumb the user fora for valuable insights into their product issues and how those products are perceived by their customer base. Unfortunately that is rarely done these days. Here in Brazil has forum of keyboards called CifraClub and has Representative of Roland and Korg are still passed on to the respective Companies Alerts of any nature. A rep like Mike Martin here from the forum. The other possibility is that other users have not experienced the issues posted to this forum and have little interest in spending time confirming them. I had an issue early on with the X500 crashing & freezing, but have not seen that happen since version 1.50 was released. The MZ-X series is almost ready for the American Public, Indonesian, Japanese and others. But for the Hard user in the Samples part lacking some improvements. Today the American user may not feel lack of taps resources but the extent to which in future using the tool in question may be too late. Many improvements and corrections noted here in this Forum have always supported me even though it is not useful to me. But this adds value to the brand and the certainty of better equipment models for all. There are no bad taste reviews regarding the MZ-X but rather marked improvements. When you create a product and make mention of its resources, everyone expects these resources to respond in the best way.
  3. For Casio to continue producing professional arrangers needs to solve these problems. Another Bug. Adding ZTN tones in Preload and editing causes ZTN notes to disappear. The Preload tool does not work as it should
  4. Firstly an update needed for bug fixes on the MZ-X line. After winning the most demanding customers launch a new MZ-X making customers continue to brand fans.
  5. Yes! Casiokid. One more bug to be fixed for list. I still need some time to make a list of bugs with all the Users I know and send it to Casio. An example for the user who does not use the MZ-X sampler one day will need to use this feature. Therefore, any and all problems must be reported with great importance and urgency, as we help Casio and its users. Otherwise it is better for Casio not to work with PROFESSIONAL ARRANGING KEYBOARDS. Here in Brazil is the best cost benefit in the area of arrangers. Only to win the fans of YAMAHA KORG and ROLAND have to solve these bugs.
  6. OK, let's go: Preload memory of 30mb is small and if used in full hangs factory sounds. Disappearance of samples instrument notes. Changing Rhythms does not change the BPM and has to change through the Tempo buttons. If you create ZTN with loops there is usually the possibility of having artifacts even using Croosfade Loop Record Memory does not save INTRO VARIATION for rhythm change. MZ does not allow you to create rhythm with variations with different BPM. Save All does not work well forcing you to save ZTN one by one. When you stop pacing at a variation of 4 and activate the START button it goes to variation 1. Rhythm editing could have a filter to increase volume only from a specific note ex (Volume lower (0-127) on all C4) Big TIME screen when there is change of time by the buttons. Stop rhythm with Start activated for left hand pickup. Creation of Variations with Major Minor and Seventh chords. Note ON OFF mode for ZTN (Looping Guitars) This is one of the lists with improvements and bug fixes. If you need video, I can arrange it, too.

  8. The big mystery is how to edit the DSP2
  9. In fact the MZx Line is the one that less falls in the quality of conversion of samples. This is indisputable. But it hurts in its small Preload of 32Mb for both the MZ-X300 and the MZ-X500, as well as the disappearance in the samples when loaded into memory. Dozens of reports from friends with the same problem, I have 40mb on my MZ-X300 and I'm afraid to add more samples to your memory. I have 128MB of sample memory that I can not use in full. Casio has to solve this or give us a position if there will be corrections. The MZ-X line is great but Casio has to listen to its customers who work in the PROFESSIONAL AREA of ONE MAN BAND Musicians and not to donate MZ-X to endorsers who use the keyboard as controllers without internal sounds or ZTN samples. I'm sorry, Brad. But we have to stop talking about good keyboard things and be real. For Casio to really go against KORG PA600, YAMAHA S770, KETRON and ROLAND EA7 have to solve these bugs. I sent word to Mike Martin and so far he has not answered me. I emailed Casio Brazil and so far there was no response.
  10. I already used the wavesaur. Use Extreme sample convert to locate the crossfading loop and loop of the Sony Forge to complete. There is no metadata. The strange thing is that the software appears normal and when I put on the keyboard these artifacts appear. Thanks Brad
  11. Wishlist for the MZ-X line Stop rhythm with Start activated for left hand pickup Improvements in sample bugs (disappearing notes) Change rhythms with original BPM of each rhythm without having to press time buttons together. Save in the database the rhythm exchange in real time with Introductions as well. The record does not load the introductions in real time in the rhythm exchange. Preload used in total memory locks factory tones. Save All does not work correctly forcing you to save ZTN one by one. When you stop pacing at a variation of 4 and activate the START button it goes to variation 1. Rhythm editing could have a filter to increase volume only from a specific note ex (Volume lower (0-127) on all C4) Big TIME screen when there is change of tempo by the buttons. Improvements in the recognition of Loops in ZTN. The MZ shows a lot of artifacts in the waves when looping (in the Software these artifacts do not appear) .
  12. If I knew anyone responsible for that part of the MZ-X software. I would create a video on You Tube highlighting some basic improvements that are missing on the MZ-X. It's tough to find the boss in this area. Mike Martin Have not read my message yet.
  13. I would like to know if the MZ-X has the ability to continue the Rhythm by the chord WITHOUT TAKING THE START BUTTON. The keyboard recognizes when you press the STOP button the START button has already been lit waiting for the first chord and continue in the same MAIN. In the other marks already known when the STOP is given the START button is already armed waiting the first chord to continue the Rhythm. Forget the SYNCSTOP as SYNC STOP gets in the way of Rhythm RETURN if you need to solo with the RIGHT hand.
  14. Roland Arranger Died after on G70 an BK-9
  15. When you still save on the manager as ZDR the program still reads. But when you save on the keyboard and return to the MANAGER gives the error and there is no more back to reissue the ZDR
  16. DSP2 It has a mystery. I wanted to use it to equalize and connect it to the microphone. However, I could see that it enters the Style on (ACCOMP ON) part. And the only way to edit it is by editing a Drum User and adding DSP. The funny thing is that if I put two Tones (Upper) with different DSP1, Upper 1 turns off the other UPPER DSP. So if you edited with DSP the UPPER1 and put an UPPER2 With another different DSP you may consider losing the setting of the second UPPER.
  17. Yamaha and Roland keyboards also have this chord variations feature. Where the Roland E-50 I have has C, Cm, C7
  18. Leon I am quoting are corrections that can be made to help the brand as we are the Testers. It is not a criticism, on the contrary. They are for correction improvements. The PA600 here in Brazil is much more expensive than the MZ-X 500 at around 35% and the MZ-X excels in cost-effective keyboards with the same value
  19. And continuing the Rick list... 1-Open Rhythms with the original speed without having to appeal to the time buttons. 2-Show Big time on the screen at the time of changing the time by the buttons. 3-START button could have the option to stay active because in a rhythm stop you could resume the rhythm by the left hand chord. 4- Correction of bugs in Samples (Memory can not be used at its maximum capacity) 5- Adding More Registration Banks 6- MZ-X300 does not accept to save Rhythms as package where it gives to bind the User's Battery Kit, obliging to write down the bank where the Kit must be saved
  20. My Friend Songwriter2015 You may have seen some suggested topics for system fixes and you may have interpreted as criticise. We love the MZ-X and are happy with the return of Casio in the arranger area. We also want to help report what is negative and also enhance what is positive. And the MZ-X always amazes me how everything sounds good on this keyboard. We know the affection of the sounds that were well produced and how much it excites us to add external sounds and mix everything. Apart from the controls that are a show apart and I confess that I could not enjoy the wonderful features due to the lack of time to produce and convert the rhythms. One sensational feature was the two Dial K where one can put endless features from Equalization to volume of upper tones in real time. I think it's always good to report everything, so adding to the experience we have with other brands and other platforms are adding to the Casio brand. From now on, arranger for me, just Casio
  21. Hello friends! Why MZ-X generates many artifacts when using ZTN with Loop waves. Uses extreme sample converter and reduce and even using the most correct points and crossfade when saving the ZTN on the keyboard some notes appear these artifacts especially in the higher regions. In Sound Forge I could verify that the waves sound perfect with Loop without any artifact.
  22. The ZAL Tool is not recommended for user ZTN. I've had trouble reloading sample ZTN Tones. I recommend saving one to one ZTN. As for the record and rhythms you put save all for registration and save all for rhythms an save all for pads independently.
