Help! WK7600 continues with crashes on the same using as a controller. The exchange of sounds in WK7600 when using the saved registration generates choking in style and this has been shown here. Today I did a test with WK7600 as midi controller and addressing the kontakt in midi 1 instrument bank channels. 10 midi drum 11 midi bass 12 midi guitar chord midi 13 pad As kontakt you can create a database of specific instruments for the channel used. I put 4 sounds and made the switch to program change where each keyboard instrument means a bank and number. Such exchange of instruments on 1 channel will not affect the other channels naturally. The problem started when the style chokes when it makes the exchange of sounds by registration. (RegFlatAcmp active on) The same problem exists with the keyboard sound happens to midi controller. Has anyone played this same problem in their instruments WK7600 / CTK7200? And if ever found any solution please put here.

In my understanding. Looping sampler is good for styles where you can add variations of percussion and drums and maybe some guitar riffs and acoustic guitar. Now if the sampler itself is very useful for solo instruments or even to add in rhythm. The sampler you can expand the keyboard sounds even if it has a small memory. I think 256mb would be up enough to add sounds in the same keyboard with issues you can not get in quality. THERE IS NO KEYBOARD WITH TONES 100%. The sampler feature dramatically decreases the keyboard limitation in to play regional music combined with user styles and looping sampler you have an instrument that will become always updated with the trends of the moment. Here in Brazil the music is so varied and active and always has news. I believe that the CASIO is on track and will sell much from the time that musicians have created regional styles and sounds for the MZS.

If you have to put sampler that gives user sounds will be very good. It has authentic instruments Brazil that everybody uses.I am seen in some video that has cavaquinho tambourine berimbal the MZ-X. But still has the sounds of accordion Todeschini and Scandalli it is very necessary. If the MZ does not sampler tone. I think it's a fusion of the WK with XW. And the question is whether it has sampler and it can be added in Style. Roland E-A7 has samplers with 4 layers create user. Not everyone knows how to create samplers but who usually creates passes for the rest it does not create.

tnicoson YAMAHA PSR 3000 as arrangers already gave to individual names in timbres 4 left and 4 right. As for the bank records that was below that I remember gave to by name in each bank. WK in the search for records with sounds created by the user only works when decorating banks. It is difficult to pinpoint what is created. On stage I'm tired of missing the timbre that had saved recently. This same system is repeated in the KORG PA50 / ROLAND E50 / PSR advanced lines / KETRON arrangers. I have worked with everyone. If the Casio has the top arranger Nothing more just follow the tendency of competition to records and banks. The PX-560 is proof that Casio is trying to facilitate the access of your system. I hope alive for Casio adopt it in the new arrangers and maybe have money can buy. http://www.casiomusicgear.com/products/menu_privia/PX-560

http://www.radialeng.com/prod2.php The Casio WK has a low gain compared to competitors such as Roland, the idea of a DI is great to match impedances between the mixer and the instrument. IThe di above would be an idea for the WK say this because in my band got to open more gain compared to the WK x Roland.

The problem is in the change registration memory. If you like to save on memory registration and make changes of timbres you have problems in this gagging. When I could see the problem disappears when you switch sounds in the right pane with the families of piano / E.Piano / strings ... only sounds simple and you do not have to save the registration memory for possible exchanges.

RTL Hello, I who I reported this bug because I use the keyboard live. The sounds you store in memory registration in exchange timbres noted this is choking. I have not had time to get around this problem and I could note that the exchange of timbres factory panel in this problem does not happen. Unfortunately it is my custom to use memory record for the tones with layers UP1 and UP2 together. Not yet appeared in this forum with no advanced knowledge of this line of keyboards a solution to this problem. And for me lag is only audible on a keyboard when one extrapolates the polyphony and is not what happened with WK7600 I have.

Thank tnicoson, Why CASIO has no updates for a system of lines younger arrangers? The XW line has update and its price here in Brazil is not as above that the CASIO WK7600. Since I bought my ROLAND E-50 had 2 updates to the system. In the second update VLINK physical button (used for lighting) turned a knob Multifunction including HOLD fingered you could only access through the TOUCH screen. The CASIO need to hone these small details. An example would be to drag and drop files directly to the card without relying on waves and especially mp3 own software system. Working many years with keyboards especially arrangers and always found bugs (found one in e-50 after stopping manufacturing ). We use the instrument in the limit because we use at work and also give incentives to CASIO.

GERIA AND JULIAN, the problem exists and you were able to prove in their instruments! I like to edit my sounds and blend the layers and that's where I use the registration memory. Use the keyboard professionally as support with the ROLAND E-50 and I repeat never seen on any keyboard I've had this problems choking the banks of registration. Old and arrangers ever had this problem never occurred. What happens in every keyboard until the E-50 is an overflow in the sound if you replace the patch with the hand holding the keyboard chords. I think if someone does not manifest a CASIO myself will report this problem if possible requesting an UPDATE or a TUTORIAL to remedy this defect system
-
Thank Vorbis. I think it's a bug or a limitation of the system process. Do not know if it's possible but the CASIO should create an update for these newer lines CTK WK to remedy this problem. So I've had old PSR 730 and did not give these heels in style.

WK7500 piano sounds out of tune
Silvano Silva replied to JimPlaysKeys's topic in WK-7500/7600 - CTK-7000/7200
One thing I'm sure. I understood how to tune an acoustic piano because my wife's mother has an antique. Studying a bit of piano tuning in so you can see in some articles that piano tuning is enharmonic, does not help you at an electronic keyboard side and tune. I could see that professional tuners tune with tuning fork and the rest of the notes by ear. Perhaps the CASIO wanted to leave a bit of realism in the mechanics of acoustic piano. In acoustic piano tuned correctly you feel it is not an electronic keyboard set-up because of the pitch, but the ear naturally accepts this deviation. I have the WK 7600 and so far I have not felt a nuisance in harmony.
