This one was for Techgrind Tuesdays. Why you throwing the Shyamalon twist into Synthjazz Sundays dogg ? The song was boss as usual ma man, but wheres dat jazzy vibe?

The mix o.k you've might as well could finish it why waste time with half the job while you could do so much more
Your right on that... I spent about 30mins-1 hour on it trying to structure it right only to find out it was off key and incorrectly timed.. I didn't want to butcher such a nice piece... Enjoy the ear pollution.

Was a little project I started back in March and stopped working on because I started it off with whole notes and, in the original- it used more sharps and flats. Also halted because I wanted to do more original pieces. Selfish of me to have it just sitting on my desktop. It's short sample but, sweet.

Well I'm no pro Scott and I'm not going to sell the farm.
(Crash that computer ,and your done But we will try one anyways)
I like a bit of work for my music, It shows integrity and passion for the time i took to "do it(my)your self"
I'd let my son play it, im too old to reprogram. HA!
Larry
Beautiful track, looking forward to more of these. I'm a bit late, but welcome to the forums, you now have a stalker on soundcloud. Now, this keyboard you displayed most def looks like something out of the X-files

For the last 2 weeks, I switched from working on my EDM music to working on my R&B/Blues music with my Casio XW-G1. I composed and recorded a more Blues version of a R&B song of mine I recording in 2010. All the music is from the XW-G1.
Loved the original. But, absolutely loved this piece! especially when the piano + synth and guitar riffs came into play. Well done!

The Fostex 8 Tracks are all used units (Read the fine print )
The Tascam 8 track Model goes for $150 on Amazon though.
Yea but, most likely by the time I even get the money for the Tascam, It will be out of the rebate period. And, chances are the Fostex will be gone too, I don't mind used units as long as they function like they're suppose to, just give em a good cleaning- air dust what you can. Bookmarked em both, keeping the options open.

Doable. Just pick yourself up one of these bad boys for about $120

Thanks man. I never thought to get one of those, this may solve the problem. I won't really need a computer(Well at least for transferring the data from the recorder). This Dell Optiplex be killing me! Literally- When I record things, it produces toxic vapors and heats up so much because it takes so much processing power to take a damn load!
I just looked em up on amazon too, new for 91 bones. Also found an 8 track recorder w/ some pretty good reviews for 115(http://www.amazon.com/Fostex-mkII-Track-Multitrack-Recorder/dp/B000K67USE/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1398289908&sr=8-13&keywords=multitrack+recorder)

What mystery, Mr. Benjamixx!
Sorry to tease ;6

I see ya took my suggestions to heart
Gary
It really wasn't your suggestion, I knew it was going to need some TLC. I noticed I made a mistake in the lyrics, but the tone was right where I wanted it was suppose to be- a faded whisper to fit the sickening theme. The overall volume was too high so everything was pretty distorted. I wish I could record direct from my mixer than having to adjust sound all the time from my crappy PC.

Needed to change a few things for the submission. Link will be back soon.

Sorry I won't be submitting anything for this Synthjazz before the deadline(Spank me lol). I really wanted to come up with something but things have been crazy at work and had to put in overtime with people calling in sick and what not- It's set me back a bit on routine. I started my project yesterday and worked on it as much as I could today. It'll be late but, it should be done before or on Wednesday. I liked your track very much happyrat(kanukchuk), and yours too lodger(Build it up), thanks again for your input on the KP3.

the first couple of seconds reminded me of my chere amor by Stevie wonder. I like the idea you followed out there and the instrumentation.
my only suggestion might be enhancing your drum parts as they dont quite seem to fit with the landscape of the track.
I have a kp 3 that i use for processing and am a pretty big fan. let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks m8. I suppose I could have worked on the drum parts a bit more(Or part, doesn't sound like much in there lol). Appreciate the input, I'll be sure to come to you screaming when my KP3 doesn't cooperate with me.

Getting lazy with the titles are we? I have no time to listen now but I'll comment on it later tonight.
Gary
Haha not lazy, I just figure that I'll give a name to something I actually put my effort into from now on. These snippets are simply testing various items I learned throughout the day. Again, I don't consider myself a god at this-still learning and loving it. I don't like to keep all this to myself, so I would like others to hear it and maybe offer some insight.
-
Maybe put a little work into it, could be quite nice. What do you guys think?

UPS!! From SoundCloud:
Sorry! We can't find that track.
Did you try to access a private track, but were not logged in?
Maybe the track has been removed.
Sorry about that, David. I changed my name back to YungGoat on soundcloud. This song was posted with the "Benjamixx" name in the link. I'll fix the link, thanks for bringing it to my attention ;P

*sigh at least you can make music I had to send my G1 away for repairs as six key's stop working at C1 I don't know about you but my fingers itch if I dont feel key's every single day. T_T the horror at least I have more then one to play with )
Sorry to hear that bud. I don't know what I would do if I was reduced to no synth. I think I would take out every drinking glass in the pantry and fill them all with water to make noted sounds, or just make a cardboard cutout of my P1, and try to reproduce drawbar organ sounds vocally xp. Smart man for having that back-up

Not bad where the effects at I was expecting some :\
Sorry, I wanted to put in more. Still learning this KP3. The only effects I put in where for the drum roll, it was set to pan(Via my mixer effects) and had a filter sweep via the kp3. I don't really put much seriousness/time into the music(I'm working on this attitude). I try hard to think of ways to make a song unique-to my own liking, but, it ends up sounding like repackaged $#!T! lol. I still have loads of fun doing it tho. Of course, it's been about a month of me composing with no musical background besides 4 years in high school in a choir(Which I dinked around in a lot). I know, I know "Cool story, bro" Your effects are coming, my friend. Lemme get in tune with ma gear m8

I like it. It's upbeat and "happy" to listen to.
It would make a great commercial jingle for an amusement park or an arcade.
BTW, are you still planning to change your nick back to YungGoat or is Benjamixx here to stay?
Personally I prefer YungGoat. It has more character.
Gary
Thank you . I've been questioning the name since I changed it. I was actually planning on switching back. I thought it would have been more of a "professional" name. But, I ain't no professional. Besides, Benjamixx sounds like it's more of a club Dj/trance genre name. I like to consider myself diverse. When the month passes, I'm changing it back.

Another weekend experiment, didn't go as I planned but somewhat satisfied with it. Enjoy

Haha! Scott thought he was going to have to do customer support. Really dodged a bullet here. Good job, Patrick.

I f-ing love this man. Doesn't even sound like it needs work but, we all have our own ideas of how we can make things better. You've def submitted yours for Synthazz Sunday. I can tell, because when I listen to smooth jazz I get those chills down my spine, so much emotion goes into it. Gotta give a + for that bass too.

This is beautiful, Steve. Was good to come home from work and hear this.
