  1. I love the way it sounds, well done. Also, I love your picture. "Down with hate, up with the tempo". Don't take that quote It's mine! May use it for an album... someday.
  2. LOL! and... Yes... I thought it was a giant, shining, vrooming, peach, errr apple. Peaches are normally soft when you bite into them. I may need a visit to my dentist... Or doctor-someone who can help me distinguish between the two.
  3. Fishey, Fishey! Wait, that's the McBites...
  4. Don't know if this one's been added to the list, sorry if it's duplicate. It's just ironic how I saw it last night, and I just noticed this topic. From the movie "Down Periscope". I don't know which model but, it's a Casio alright. I can't seem to share the clip on these posts for some reason but here's the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=fNaQS3vDQc4#t=102
  5. Okay so, I'm trying to change up the sound of a drumkit with DSP settings(I'm using elec. drum w/ enhancer). In performance, I have two split parts. I have a Solo Synth assigned to zone 1 and the elec. drum(DSP) set to zone 2. However, every time I try to edit a zones DSP, it will cross over to the other zone or vice versa (So they have the same DSP sound). Is there any possible way to separate the two instruments into their own DSP settings so I can use them in the step sequencer?
  6. Shame on you, Casio power! Kidding, It was magnificent. Nice work! Like Rat said, it had a smooth jazz(I love smooth jazz) feel to it, and very dynamic
  7. My 4 hour-long project is complete! I think I need some water-and-maybe watch some Lord of the Rings-The Fellowship of the Ring(It's not a LOTR remix, simply has one quote in there which brings me back to my adolescent days). May the force be with you.. ooh, wrong movie, oh well, enjoy my Casiogoers! https://soundcloud.com/yunggoat/reminiscence
  8. Thank you. I actually started re-sequencing the entire song. I'll span it out and keep it more "Down tempo".
  9. Hey, as long as it pulls the kids away from the evil that is "dubstep". I say it's a mission accomplished.
  10. I'm pretty new to this myself. So, don't take me the wrong way. I thought that the lyrics could have used a bit more tune(I don't know if the KP3/KP3+ vocoder is capable of that) to fit the track. The lyrics are well spoken, and the song says you coped well with your girlfriend leaving you(Which I feel for) but hey, don't need da b!T** when you have a Casio . The keys understand your feelings more better than a companion. Play on friend!
  11. Just a lil some I did on the side. Let me know if you think the drum bridge to the piano sequence was a bit over-kill :s https://soundcloud.com/yunggoat/lost-in-familiarity
  12. You know what? That must be it- I like to keep things simple. My 3-5 note riffs, I like to tweak throughout the song and add bass and some nice kicks. As simple as it may be, I personally like it(As vain as it sounds). I do try to play from the <3. But, damn kids these days expect dubstep!
  13. Now you, you are lying! >. haha, just kidding. Thank you buddy
  14. Thank you for your honesty. I'll keep it in mind-need to take a break from it, was dinking around with it all day yesterday. You know how hearing the same thing for a while can make a man go crazy. I think you'll like the next project I'm working on(I won't tell!). But, it will have all that melody you desire.
  15. First take on it wasn't all that great. Did it again, much better. Check it! https://soundcloud.com/yunggoat/lovelybraintumor

Sick of using Windows Movie Maker and uploading to youtube, makes music sound like S#!T!
  17. Like it? Loved it! Very beautiful. Did you use the P1+G1 combo? Gotta get me the G1 :s
  18. Thank you so much . I appreciate the feedback. I actually have the XW-P1 model. The whole song was created with the synthesizer, except the sound samples which I threw in using Virtual DJ. I guess it turned out rather nicely.
  19. Finished up this song this morning. Pretty excited. Click the youtube link below to listen. If you want the track with better quality I would be glad to send you one. Hope you like it! https://soundcloud.com/yunggoat/deceit
  20. Lol, come on, it's not that bad. Do it with me! Besides it will be good for when more important updates/fixes come into play. That way you're not dragging behind trying to update to... I don't know, let's say update 13.4.5. -make sure no applications on your PC are running -unplug the USB cable from your synthesizer and power down -power on while hold "Power" "Edit" and "Write"(It will say "Update mode" if done correctly) -while the "Update mode" screen on your synth is up, plug in the USB again -Now, on your computer, launch the update application and let it finish Ba-bing! Were good till the next update
  21. Honestly, I thought the manual was pretty straight forward... Besides not adding a knob controller numbered list to the appendix(Yes, I know, it's not a part of the manual )
  22. This is odd. I'm making a beat up to my 5th sequence, it sounds pretty intense(To me anyways lol). I have a heavy drum(Elec.Set "C2") maxing on 120volume per step and low freq. set at +8) and a Hex layer(Sy_VA Synth 7). also every step, at around 115volume. I go to switch to the next sequence and it plays some music completely different than my own. I can go back to step 5 and my original piece that I worked up to is still in place, but it won't let me edit it and stays with the same, interesting music. Could it even be possible, it has reached it's full load capacity for that entire sequence? EDIT: I just decided to tone it down a bit in my S.S. Structure seems to be stable... for now
  23. Soooo, more questions! To begin, pattern change is set to to "wait" and the tracks I'm using all have matched up time signatures. I have a pattern 2 going and press pattern 3. Pattern 2 doesn't "wait" cuts out midway and goes to pattern 3 as if it were in "real" time without finishing. What am I doing incorrectly?
  24. Okay, so. I'm having this problem where I edit an instrument with DSP settings and assign it to a track(lets say drums 1). Then I'll edit another instrument and assign it to bass but the drum DSP will start interfering with bass track or vice versa. Another problem is the DSP effect doesnt seem to stay on the instruments when I save, power down, then start back up, all I get is an echo effect. Is there any way to keep the tracks DSP settings seperate and perminately attached to the track I assigned them to? Any help would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: I think I got it somewhat sorted out- I simply went to the menu and changed solo to channel 1 for the performance/DSP effect. I can work around things now
