  1. Version 3

    186 downloads

This is the 2nd UPDATE of my stage setting is for Bryan Adams' "Summer of '69". From A1 to C#5, I have created a zone for a gutsier, more adjustable draw-bar organ than the previous versions (based off of Mike Martin's wonderful "6 bar" organ.) The modulation wheel AND NOW PEDAL 2 will trigger the LESLIE rotary effect when needed. From D5 on up, I created a zone for the keyboard sound in the chorus, which has also gone under some final tweaking. Preview this 2nd (& LAST) updated stage setting at: https://soundcloud.com/mcnab1dl/summer-of-69wav-1
  2. Joe....yes I know chorus/vibrato is different than the rotary effect...I was just saying that I have tried using All effects to try to get SOMETHING CLOSE to the Leslie effect, including the chorus/ vibrato... I will keep watching for a used pedal like you suggested (unless I run across a huge bucket of money somewhere! :-) )
  3. I understand...thanks for the response.. I agree that this keyboard is AMAZING for all it CAN do!!!!! & it is absolutely awesome how the user community is there to help! Thanks everyone.
  4. Money not growing on any trees around my house!
  5. If it could have been done, what a shame!
  6. I tried asking this on Facebook, but all I got was "likes" & no answers... So, I'll ask here... Is the only way to get a realistic Leslie effect by using an after market burn or neo vent pedal, or COULD THIS be achieved with a new firmware update? (I haven't been able to get the chorus/vibrato effect close enough to give the proper simulation). I am just curious...
  7. I read a previous conversation where I think Scott Hamlin said that key transposition can be programmed into an individual stage setting (so when you change to that specific setting, the key is changed specifically for that setting). Scott, if you are out there still, could you please list the steps to do that without assigning a slider? F# Major is no fun to play in!!!
  8. Add more accent, not absent
  9. Also, how do you add more absent to the beginning of a tone (in other words, give the brass tone a little more "punch" at the beginning of the note)?
  10. I am in need of some programming advice... I have created several stage settings by assigning different tones to different zones, balancing dynamic levels between tones, and adding a pseudo Leslie effect to some organ patches, but that's about it. I have watched Mike Martin's videos on programming sounds, and I took his advice on delving into the makeup of a tone to see how the programming works...but I still cannot find the answer for the following question... How do you take the "brass section" tone (which I have zoned into a stage setting I created for "Sweet Caroline") and make that tone decresdendo as I hold it down for four counts? In other words, how do alter that tone to steadily fade after initially striking it? (Ps. I'm trying to get the brass sound to decrescendo on the whole note where the lyrics go "sweet caroline...bahm, bahm, BAHMMMMMMMMMMMM" part!) C'mon Neil Diamond fans! I really need to know how to get that brass sound to fade for foUr counts! Thanks in advance! Darin McNabb
  11. Got the sticker. .it looks great!!! Thanks Scott! Bad Axe, Michigan
  12. I registered in July, 2014 and still never received the "promised" decals... Lame.
  13. Can anyone suggest a stage setting for the synth sound in Mony Mony? I started with the polysynth stage setting (7,7), but that just isn't it..it seems to have more of a brassy sound than that... All suggestions welcome...
  14. UPDATE: I am still looking for someone else to blame for the new pickup I bought (with the cloth seats, stick shift, and stinkin' tape deck.
  15. One day, I bought a new pickup. It had cloth seats, a stick shift and a cassette player included. After driving it a little, I became disappointed with the vehicle because I wanted leather seats, automatic transmission, and a cd player. I called the dealer because I know he easily could have upgraded the seats and radio...and frankly , he should have done it for free because I asked! But, ya know, he and his dealership wouldn't listen! (I guess I expected more from a dealer who advertised his vehicles as top of the line, but at a great price) Now I know I couldn't switch to automatic transmission, but I looked and looked for alternate solutions until I finally gave up. I have been bashing that dealer every day since... Maybe the next year's model truck will come standard with all the options I should have waited for the first time. I guess I'll look elsewhere...
  16. It's been just over a month for me, and I have yet to receive stickers. Is it true that all online registrations will get them? What is the average wait time?
  17. Thanks...Just to be clear, do I upload it from my memory stick in my laptop?
  18. Maybe its right in front of my face, but can anyone tell me how to post a stage setting I've created to the "downloads" section of this forum? Also, do you need special permission for this?
  19. To go two steps further... Never zipped a file in my life! Clueless! 1) Do I do that on my Privia editor program or just somewhere else on the laptop? Also, I notice when I pull up the slider to add strings to verse two, it plays a snippet of the previously held piano/electric keyboard chords, but in the new pulled up string sound... 2) is there a way to make that string sound not be activated until I play a New note? (I've seen discussion about this elsewhere, but never really found an answer.) Darin
