Piano buzz recording
-
Will try to record the sound ASAP - hearing it through my Audio interface over speakers and headphones and directly from keyboard with headphones.
-
It is just the piano Stage settings worse on the brighter tones such as Rock Piano.
-
Tried that - no difference. Very prominent on E2.

I haven't noticed anything of the sort. Is it ALL stage settings or just piano ones? Can you record it and upload it somewhere so we can hear? I am guessing you have tried different headphones / speakers to eliminate the possibility of sympathetic resonance and the like....
Notice it using good headphones - AKG 240 MKII - just play E2 then play F2 with a good solid stoke and you can hear the buzz on the E almost a metallic scrape sound in the upper frequencies - also does in my K271's but more noticeable on the k240's even when pugging directly into the keyboards headphone jacks, almost sound like a faint upper frequency tambourine sound.

I have had my PX5S for about 45 days and am noticing a buzzing in the GrPnoCOncert sound between Bb2-E2. This is noticeable in any Stage setting it is used. Is this part of the sample or is keyboard defective?

I figured it out you hit write then select tone, then select the Hex User number where you want it to go - is there a way to see whats on the existing user numbers or do you have to know ahead of time or does it save it to the next available user number?
-
Thanks for the quick reply - How do you save a tone that only exists within a stage setting?
-
I downloaded and installed the 6Draw Organ Setup and would like to use the tone 6 Bars in another setup but cannot seem to find it In the list. Where does it reside it says Hex : U : 83 but when I go there that is still says Trance Stab.

Never mind figured it out - just couldn't see the cursor.

How do you rename a phrase? The only option when you hit write is write phrase yes/no?

It is 0-0 ConcertGrand and you hear it much more with maximum velocity, but it is strange that E2 does it and just a 1/2 step above on F2 you can make it happen. I guess it is the characteristic of the piano used to create the sample.
