Try playing a chord with the keys.   The keyboard might be in rhythm mode and waiting for a complete fingered chord.   My CTK 900 will not sound until a complete chord is played in those lower keys.

I've tried that but no joy. It's just the keys C-G (white and black).

I have a hardly used CTK 5000 and 6 or so of the left most keys have stopped working. They still move, but no sound is made.

Can anyone make any suggestions?
