  2. Please, report to Casio: there is no trace of the Arpeggiator in the technical description of the PX-560M neither here http://www.casio-music.com/it/strumenti/pianoforti-digitali/privia-pro/px-560m/ nor here http://www.casiomusicgear.com/products/menu_privia/PX-560 while it is one of the functions that led me to choose the Casio PX-560M rather than an other model of an other brand I would like in a future upgrade of the firmware a little bit of EDIT of the Arpeggiator in the PX-560M, that contains the 100 presets as the PX-5S, though I already know the main difference between the models: the PX-5S has 4 arpeggiators fully programmable, the PX-560M has 1 arpeggiator only assignable to a part and not programmable at all See Mike from 04'30" till 08'30" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPSVqrKvHv8 I would love for instance that you could assign the Arpeggiator to a parameter without repeating notes, it is a fact that the preset 3 = Panning already affects the CC#10 Pan and the preset 4 = Filtering affects the CC#74 Filter Cutoff (Set a Knob to the value above and see it move in a registration screen) I am only asking, wishing it can be done, it is a fact that nobody thought that an upgrade would come in such a short time so as to fix the problem of the Drums on CH10 in the MIDI files and to add the utility Save / Load All on USB stick
  3. You can set any volume as you like, as you can see in the Balance screen shot attached, it can be saved in a Registration You can also control the Line IN volume by any of the real time controllers: Knob 1, Knob 2, Knob 3, Modulation, Expression Pedal Choose a Controller, set the Target, as you can see in the screen shots attached
  4. Here are the 3 main tones samples Berlin = C. Bechstein Hamburg = Steinway Vienna = Bösendorfer
  5. I will try to create an upright for the PX-560, though I still am learning EDIT as for my pianistic experience, I prefer a deeper sound in the middle Beware, that is my taste
  6. Thank you swistak, I will try, I am still exploring the tone EDIT of the PX-560
  7. Would you like to try this list? Casio Privia PRO PX-560M.INS CASIO CH10 DRUMS.syx Check 560.txt

  9. I was fond of the Kawai ES8 = 1500€ and regretted I could not afford it instead of the Casio PX-560 = 1100€ , though the latter comes with a lot more functions on board, till the day I could play them together in the shop. The main difference is the power of the speakers, the Kawai ES-8 has twice as much the power of the Casio PX-560. So I adjusted the volumes of the 2 to the same loud level. Casio PX-560 "includes" or better resembles the sounds of the Kawai ES8 and has many more (650 vs 34). I come from an acoustic upright Petrof piano, since I was a child, so I focused on the piano sound. The best Kawai piano sound is the SK5, switch to Mellow or Dolce Piano on the Casio and there you are! Same test and result as for the Strings and so on. As a further evidence I tried the basic of Casio Celviano series AP260, actually its powerful speaker system, twice as much that of the Kawai ES8, leads you to think it sounds better, while the Casio sound engine and the keyboard are the same. So, I was very glad of my purchase. As for the keyboard, you just have to get accustomed to the Casio in a couple of days, since the keys are not smooth but they are also heavier and that is once again better for me, since I come from an acoustic upright piano. I was even disappointed I could hardly feel the Kawai RH3 let-off mechanism that is typical of the acoustic coda pianos and missing in the upright and in the Casio pianos, this was the other reason why I thought the Kawai was better than the Casio before playing them together. I could feel the let-off mechanism in the Yamaha Clavinova CLP-575 = 2600€ and in the Kawai MP11 = 2300€ but these have wooden longer keys as in an acoustic piano. I tried a Korg, it was switched off, I just wanted to feel another keyboard, too soft, any digital piano keyboard makes a noise when it's switched off.
  10. Sorry BradMZ, anyhow I thank you I agree with you swistak, I had the same idea already, did you try it?
  11. Could you please "translate" it for PX-560?
  12. Let's break the ice, as we say in Italy Here is a Tone + Registration that I created, I upload it in the proper section Community Created Files --> PX-560 PX-560 PIANO LID + ANGELS The attachment also contains a form to fill in, if others find it useful, then use it for your creations

From a piano perspective I noticed that a Piano + LID effect was missing in the presets so I created a New Tone PIANO LID and mixed it with preset Tone ANGELS SING Load PIANO LID Tone in Group Name: Piano Load PIANO LID Registration in empty location Load PIANO LID Tone in Upper 1 See details in the attachment about how all real time controllers are assigned PX-560 PIANO LID + ANGELS.zip
  14. I sold my Roland JV-1080 + Kurzweil Micropiano + Casio Privia PX-310 and bought the Casio Privia PRO PX-560M I still own a Roland JW-50, I remember that you can set any parameter as you like through its own GS NRPN + Sysex
  15. Actually I chose the PX-560M rather than the PX-5S just because of its color graphic touchscreen display (yeah you can even see the envelope graph as you edit it) + speakers, even though with 3 knobs + 1 expression pedal rather than 4 knobs + 6 sliders for real time control I am learning to edit the PX-560M for registrations, new tones and hex-layers As far as I understood from Mike's video clinics, the PX-5S already comes with programmed controls for the hex-layers in the stage settings, you have to assign the controls to the hex-layers on the PX-560M and store the settings in the registrations
  16. Sorry I missed the post in the Facebook, and more sorry that there will be no editor
  17. Hi, I've read the manual of the Data Editor for PX-5S, it is very useful, any chance to get one for the PX-560M?

  19. To all of the Admins of the Casio forum and facebook (and to Casio!) Thank you! The update just filled the gaps as the needs expressed by the PX560 users!
