  1. Repair is different. You have to pull out adyacent white keys A and B to extract the Bb. By the way it's necessary to disasembly the entire board for this operation. Check my pictures here:
  2. Same problem here. I don't understand why Casio make this faults.
  3. It's Casio who has to release a firmware upgrade
  4. I'm convinced that it's a grease problem. It makes the same noise as the black keys of the Yamaha PSR SX900. Other well know case of noisy keys.
  5. I've bought a L plug on Amazon. I hope that Casio fix this. (I know, they will not fix this).
  6. @Jokeyman123 This is a completly new keybed.
  7. Yes Brad. Of course. But I would like to know the cause of the noise and how yo fix it. I also want to know if the repairs made by Casio are durable. If the piano makes noises again after a few months of use or not.
  8. Hi. I have the 3000 for a week now and some black keys have started to make a very annoying and loud noise.. I have read on the forum that this is a known problem. I would like to know if the problem is fixable. That is, if the people who sent the piano to Casio to repair it were happy with the repair or, on the contrary, it makes noise again. I have experience cleaning and greasing keybeds of synths but I've never fixed a 88 weighted keybes. Is it something I can fix myself? It's a grease problem? I know. I can send it back to the store but I don't want to do that. I would like to know the cause of the noise and fix it myself. Thanks in advance. VID20220519210956.mp4
  9. Ok. Thank you very much Brad. Regards.
  10. Yes. Sorry. I forgot to mention it.
  11. Hi all. It's possible to assign one knob to cc09 volume to control vst instruments? Thanks in advance.
  12. You can plug the inverse pedal in the expression in and select polarity and pedal target as sustain. You will have to save the setting to a bank registration.
  13. Thanks for your reply Brad. I respect your opinion, but it seems very unprofessional to me to have to plug a jack to disable the speakers when a small firmware update would solve the problem. Also, for those of us who use this piano in a studio envoirement, that jack connected to the front side all the time is very annoying and dangerous at the same time.. Any accidental friction will break the headphone jack input or the plug itself. I hope Casio will read this thread and help us with a little firmware update.
  14. Hi all. I've just bought a 3000. Lovely piano. So classy device... But please Casio, save us to have to plug a jack in the headphone input to turn off the speakers please. Such a beautiful object must continue looking beautiful without plugged jacks on the front side!
  15. Please Casio. We need a firmware upgrade for the MZ-X500 urgently in order to solve the Registration changes problem. Why other Casio products like PX-5S are saving the Registration or Stage settings without to have to save every single tone as user tone before? Why the MZ-X500 not? In addition, only a few tones can be saved in some categories...For example, only 10 synth sounds can be saved in the user memory slots... Solve this problem please. Is this a professional atrranger or is it not? Thanks in advance.
  16. K1 K2 EQ settings of other registrations are correct saved...strange...
  17. Mmmmm.... Brad... The device do not saves the Release and Attack value changes of K1 and K2... I set Release and Attack at 112, I save the registration, but when I come back the both values are 64... Why?
  18. I like the release feature and I just discovered a trick. By editing the modulation wheel or the K buttons, you will get release of whatever midi cc you want in your registration, without altering the tones. This means, without to have to save a new tone. Ok. Release for all 4 tones....but, it's beter than nothing. Cheers.
  19. I've owned the FA-06 for about one year. I prefer the MZ-X500. It's more funny to play. But the Roland is easy to use, the Casio is not. And with the FA, you have for free the entire Roland sound history (Axial) The Roland is a much better workstation, but the Casio is....another thing...you know?
  20. Fortunately, because there are only 10 memory slots for piano sounds...
  21. The result is the same yes, but after a lot of extra work and waste of time. And yes, the MZ has about 650 memory slots, but these are subdivided in categories! You can only save 10 piano sounds, 10 synth sounds, enz.. Almost unuseable user tone memory. And yes, you can still save in the usb pendrive...I know....but the device itselfs has a jurassic workflow. .
  22. This is terrible....If I had know this, I did not buy the MZ-X500. I never had to have sold the PX-5s Thanks Brad.
