  1. Brad sorry, not Bart. Strange that only a simple tweaking of the release makes you to have to save a entire new tone before to save the registration. I do not remember very well but, in the PX-5S is not like that, right? So I have to make 4 new user tones for every new registration?....And I see for example, only 10 user memory slots to save a synth sound????
  2. I imagined something like that. It's a shame, because it complicates this aspect a lot. Thank you again Bart.
  3. Hi again. I'm making my first registration of four tones with the blue monster. I change the coarse in the mixer section to +5 (thanks Brad), add an effect (phaser) to one of the tones and a little bit release (+15) I go to the main screen and press Store plus registration number. Okay. Registration is saved. But when I come back to this registration, only the coarse remeans. No more effect and release. What I'm doing wrong?
  4. Oh yes! That's the way. Thank.you very much Brad!
  5. Hi Brad thanks for your reply. These are octave settings, not transpose settings...
  6. Hi. I just bought an MZ-X500. I would like to transpose an upper tone. For example, piano 0 and strings +5 but I don't find this fuction in the tone edit or advanced mode.... Would you help me with this please? Thanks.
  7. Thank you Brad. However, the cut off issue does the whole thing useless
  8. Thanks for your reply Brad. It's a real shame that Casio makes these mistakes. I just bought a Korg Krome, with the idea of plugging it into the Audio IN of the PX-5S. As a result, a horribly dirty sound comes out of the Casio. Now, have I to spend extra money to buy a mixer? Or did I take the Casio to repair? My Casio still has two years warranty. Will Casio accept this problem as a warranty case? I'm very frustrated with this PX-5S fault. Very disspointed after paying 899 euro for an useless Audio IN port!
  9. Hello Forum. Is this issue solved? I have the same problem. Noise in audio in ports. ;(
  10. Thank you Brad. This solved the problem.
  11. Hi forum Suddenly is my sustain pedal this morning stop with working. It´s connect to the Pedal 2 input If I connect it to Pedal input 1 "Damper", sustain will be work again by inverting the pedal polarity. Things I´ve done: - I´ve checked the pedal in my Yamaha Motif. Sustain works perfectly - I´ve used the function Initialize All on the PX-5S with no results - Last firmware version already installed. It´s a recent unit. Any ideas please? Thanks in advance.
  12. Thanks Scott Look at the picture please. In my PX-5S, CC94 is Delay... Btw, The delay works perfectly with the internal sounds. The Casio Midi IN port is disconected. The PX-5S sends to the MOXF Midi Out only.
  13. Hi. I have still a question to make to the PX-5S experts. My PX-5S can send everything via the knobs and sliders to my Moxf6. Reverb, Chorus, Release, Sostenuto, Hold...everything except for the Delay effect. What I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
  14. Thank you for your reply. Your help is much apreciated.
  15. Thanks for answering I have the knob 4 programmed as CC72 Release. But it also sends the Release to the MOTIXF Is there no way that the Release function only works internally in the Casio?
  16. Hello, and congrats for this great site about Casio. I just bought this week a PX-5S. I really love it, but I´m having problems to connect it via midi with a MOXF6 I would like to use the sequencer capabilities of the MOXF6 but using the keybed (and sounds) of the PX-5S I made some midi adjustments in the PX-5S as other forum members suggest, I can play now the sounds of the MOXF6 from the Casio, but my first problem: I would like that the four knobs do not send midi. For example, that Release from Casio´s knob 4 only affects de Casio and not the Casio and the Yamaha together and vice versa. Is that possible? I´m really having troubles to get these two machines working properly via Midi Thanks in advance.
