  1. All I want to do is set it up so that when I change the bank to a sample pad it runs as regular beginning with C3 on the lowest pad.  At the moment, every time I change a bank to samples it takes me a few minutes to change all the pad pitches to match the other banks.

    Cheers! :)

  2. Thanks Brad - I think I explained this pretty poorly, let me try again!

It doesn't matter which sequence, or which bank I have selected - when I hold down the padset button and change the bank to SAMPLE type, it rearranges the pad pitches like in this image.  I've just tried initializing the XW-PD1 to factory settings, but it seems this must be a default setting because it's still doing the same thing..

  3. Hey there!

One issue I've been having with the XW-PD1 is that the default pad pitch settings when changing to a sample padset is bizarre - for some reason instead of the regular chromatic scale starting on C3, it starts on D#3 and then skips a semi-tone later in the chromatic scale (G# to A#, missing A).  Is there any way to change this default?  I've read and re-read the instructions, and tried everything I could think of - to no avail..

This only happens when changing to the Sample Padset, both Synth/Melody are OK, chromatic starting on C3.

    Cheers in advance!

  4. I've had about a week playing with the XW-PD1, and I'm having a blast.  It's limited, but a bunch of fun.

One thing that seems like it would be a pretty obvious feature, but I can't see anything about - does anybody know if there's an easy way to switch octaves?  I found the method to edit the pitch of each individual pad, but apart from the key shift function, I can't see any way to easily shift the entire padset at once up or down an octave.

    Many thanks!
