I put an expression pedal on my XW-P1 through the 5pin MIDI port using a Midi Solutions box. Works great!
One thing, though, you need to connect the XW midi OUT to the MS box IN so it gets power. Wierd, but it works.

I'd just like to be able to send a midi signal to my 560 to change the registration. like the Bank/Number for a registration.
I can select performances on my XW-P1 just fine, and tones. Can select Tones on 560... but not registrations.
Any ideas?
When I look at the midi out stream when I select a registration, it's a giant stream of data, oh my.....
Thanks,

Greetings,
I'm using a program called "Midi Commander" on my Android table that works great on my XW-P1. I can change Performance and Tone settings just fine with it via the USB midi port.
I'd like to do the same with the PX-560. I've stored many registrations in various banks.
Q.) What MIDI signals to I need to send to select a PX-560 registration???
I've scoured the documentation and the appendix shows the program and bank numbers for every TONE, but not for registrations.
Once I can do that, I'd like to ultimately send the change signals on channel 2 THRU the XW-P1 to my PX-560.... it looks like this
[Tablet w Midi Commander] --> USB --> [XW-P1 on channel 1] --OUT--> 5 pin Midi Cable --IN-->[PX-560 on channel 2]
This has been frustrating! I'm sure there must be a way to select registrations!!!! Please say it's so? Anybody know how to do this?
Thanks!

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can not find how to assign the Rotary effect
for Organ playing to the Modulation wheel. Going from Off to On, etc.
For that matter, I can't find any of the "Editable DSP Parameters" on pages 34-35 of the manual
like the "Drive Rotary," etc....
I'm getting concerned... anybody know how to do this?
Either the Modulation wheel, or maybe a footswitch... but I'd prefer the Mod wheel so I can use
an expression pedal with the organ.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Volume Jumping w/ Expression Pedals

I'm having the same problem. It's pretty frustrating to purchase a "flagship" model and have it not work properly on something as basic as a smooth volume transition with an expression pedal. I've tried it with THREE different pedals - all display the same behavior. Moreover, I've tested each of these pedals on 3 other keyboards (each one) and the ALL work perfectly. This is clearly a problem with the 560 and it should be fixed immediately.
The other thing I have a big issue with is not being able to select a "registration" with a simple midi message. I mean, really? What's up with that? I can do it with the XW-P1, but not with the 560.
