Here is new tone MR Funk wah (load to Hex Layer) and registration for all controller. Modulation wheel is in use for Distortion, Knob1 for Dealay, Knob2 for Reverb, Knob3 for Amp and Expression pelad for Wah. This is a very Rock setting... I'd be glad to hear did you rock with it...? I love this odd px-560 ! In this setup I used MR Funk wah in Upper1 and Syn-Bass+Ld in Upper2. First load the tone to Hexlayer and save it and then registration and save it to bank+area. -
HexLayers are a big selling point for Casio and an impressive feature. I have created a few and have a reasonable understanding of the structure and control features. Some more information may be helpful. I wish to use the exact same raw wave in my HexLayers that are used in a preset tones. Unfortunately, when modifying a preset tone it's not possible to identify the raw wave. For example, lets say I want to start my HexLayer with the wave used for Preset Tone 1 - Grand Piano Concert. How do I know what wave(s) to use ? Is it made from Wave 001 GrPiano1-L and perhaps 002 GrPiano1-R ? Similarly, for all other Preset Tones. How do I identify the raw wave ?

On the PX-560, if you tweak a performance setting - maybe you've un-split the keyboard, or maybe you've made some deeper edits - the blue lit bank button goes out. I can look to the LCD to see what bank I'm using, but no longer know if it's button 1, 2, 3, or 4. I assume that's Casio's way of letting us know the setting has been modified. Can't tell you how much I wish it would not do that. To me, it makes it harder to keep track of what you're editing, or just to know what performance setting you've been using. Any chance of a firmware fix for this? Thanks!! **I originally posted this in the Facebook group (permalink here) and got affirmation on the issue. Someone suggested I repost here. Hope that's OK. Basically, I and some others are asking for a firmware fix for what we've feel is an annoying issue. The fix would involve making the registration bank button blink when you've make a change to a performance setting rather than having the button light (blue) go out completely. This is a big problem if you've made an edit that you now wish to write but lost track of the setting you were editing because none of the buttons (1, 2, 3, or 4) are lit. A blinking light would solve the issue. Thanks for reading!

Can anybody help? One of my song has a train at the beginning and at the end, so I need to create a train tone on the PX-560 I had a Roland Sound Canvas module when I recorded the song and TRAIN is a variation inside the main tone helicopter So... Hex-layer.. EDIT LFO from Helicopter?

New firmware update request: Port C able to send MIDI out See scheme on the manual @ page 101, go to Mixer screen, the PX-560M sends MIDI out on Port A to an other MIDI device both the channel that you play real time and also the rhythms tracks but MIDI Recorder, that plays on Port C, does not send MIDI out while I would like to play a track with an other MIDI instrument Note: I already know that I could send MIDI by a computer through a MIDI multi Port and split the tracks between the PX-560M and the other MIDI device, so, please avoid answers of the kind, because I just would like the PX.560M to be able to do it without a computer

I am considering a PX-560 for a stage piano. However, one thing I frequently need to do is make a smooth transition from one sound to the next. For example, if I am playing a piano part and the next part is for strings. I want to play the last piano note, switch to the strings with the sustain pedal down, and while the piano note is fading, start playing strings. Some keyboards allow this and others cut off all sound when changing registrations/tones. Does the PX-560 allow for changing registrations without cutting off the previous notes. Hi everybody, JohnG here. As of five days ago a proud owner of a PX-560. Incredibly impressed and pleased. A wonderful, versatile instrument. At the tender age of ... well, let's just say well into retirement, I've decided it's about time to learn to play. Had various synths etc. over the years but this is the first digital piano. Sequenced classical music for many years too via notation and DAW software. However, I can't find a MIDI implementation manual, not even a PDF. Is the one for the PX-5S any use for this instrument?
