I'm wondering if anyone has figured out how to dis engage the mod wheel on the piano sounds? I actually sent back the first 560 I bought because when I was on the phone with Casio they didn't even know why this was happening and told me to exchange it! As I was waiting for my new one to arrive it occurred to me that maybe i=t was the mod wheel but why would that ne enable on the piano sound? Makes no sense and the vibrato doesn't really turn off the whole way even if you have it down. Any suggestions?

PX-560 Organ Leslie/Rotary effect assign to Modulation wheel???
RGeigerUSA posted a topic in PX-560M
Maybe I'm missing something, but I can not find how to assign the Rotary effect for Organ playing to the Modulation wheel. Going from Off to On, etc. For that matter, I can't find any of the "Editable DSP Parameters" on pages 34-35 of the manual like the "Drive Rotary," etc.... I'm getting concerned... anybody know how to do this? Either the Modulation wheel, or maybe a footswitch... but I'd prefer the Mod wheel so I can use an expression pedal with the organ. Thanks in advance for your help. -
Is there a way to set up the sustain pedal to act as a switch to change rotary speaker effect from slow to fast? This is a global setup feature on Nord keyboards. Just thought Casio might have a similar solution.

Drawbar Organ : how to SLOW down the Leslie
showkster posted a topic in WK-7500/7600 - CTK-7000/7200
Casio 7500 When I kick in the leslie on any of the drawbar Organ setups, it seems to go way too fast, causing sort of a warbling sound. Has anyone figured out a fix for this???? Is there a way to set the speed? -
I have a Privia PX-3. The organ sounds that come with the PX-3 don't have a strong enough Leslie effect for me, so I want to use a rotary pedal (e.g., Lester K, Ventilator II, etc.) with the keyboard. I know how to connect and use a typical rotary pedal. However, I can't figure out how to edit the sounds on the PX-3 to remove as much of their built-in rotary effect as possible. Otherwise, a rotary pedal creates excessive Leslie effects by layering its Leslie sound on top of the patch's built-in Leslie sound. Is there a way to remove the Leslie effect on the organ patches in the PX-3? Or is there a way to build a Hammond-type patch from scratch on the PX-3? Thanks very much.

Is there a way to assign the slow/fast function of the tone wheel organ speaker to a foot control pedal or one of the pads on the MZ-X500? I'm finding that the small "slow/fast" button at the far left of the keyboard is not in a very convenient location and is a very small target during a live performance.

I have a Privia with rotary in some of the organs. I have both an original sustain pedal or a momentary on/off switch type pedal. Can someone walk me thru (step by step) how to set up a pedal to turn rotary on and off? where does it plug in and what, if anything I need to do to so I can simply step on the pedal to activate and deactivate rotary. I seem to be too limited in my understanding and I know someone knows how. I use the keys, stereo, thru a volume pedal from time to time (not always), use a casio sustain pedal for sustain and play thru either a KC-550 or KC-350 depending. HELP! Anyone who plays knows how inconvenient it is to turn rotary on/off on the panel above the keys.

I have the Casio Data Editor running and that's how I do my editing (I am no good at editing on the PX-5s). I am frustrated with getting a usable organ sound, but I would alleviate much of that if the Leslie effect would accelerate faster at startup. Is it possible and if so, how? Thanks, Paul

On stage setting 1/6 (gospel organ), the modulation setting allows you to specify parameters for the rotary/overdrive effect such as Speed, etc. to be modified by the wheel. However, I duplicated the concert piano setting and added an organ for a piano/organ layer, and added the rotary/overdrive effect for the organ (tone 2), However, the parameters for the rotary/overdrive do NOT show when I go to specify them via modulation. I used the computer editor to check it, and it shows "DSP parameter 3" when you download the stage setting to the computer and call it up using the editor. I went back in and used DSP parameter 3, and that didn't work either. Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks!
