  1. This is the next to last of my old taped Casio tunes I'm putting on the CMF. I sure had a lot of fun with my Casios. I now have a Korg microSTATION because Casio shys away mini keys these days. Just in time for Valentine's Day is my vid about two lonely blobs that find luv in this crazy universe, aww 😊! Check the YouTube description if you want mo info.
  2. If my count is right I have 2 more of my ol' 390 tape recordings left to upload after this one. This one here is from '95. The Casio was put through a chorus and a delay pedal and things get freaky! 🙃 Push play, baby. And take a wild ride!
  3. Yup, I only have a handful of my old Casio recordings left to upload. I reached way down and pulled up a CT-390, Yamaha PSR-190 duet. That barrel phrase is usually about low quality but this music is of the same quality level as all my other posts here on the CMF. Don't give me that look.
  4. It's a little stale maybe, but good viewin'! Enjoy!
  5. Well, actually I have 8 minutes of some silly stuff that didn't fit in this episode to upload. But I promise I won't turn this into a franchise. These vids were so hard to make you can believe me on that for sure. This last episode is one hour long...😨 OMG! Most of the time you'll be hearing the CT-390. Sometimes it'll be almost unintelligible through the overamplifcation and messiness, but it's in there. Enjoah!
  6. As to HOW you got here, well, that's harder to figure out. Apparently it all began with the Big Bang. But how and why that happened might never be known. As long as you're here you might as well check out episode 8 of my Space Dude epic!
  7. So did I pull it off? Is this too much one way or another? Does it work for you? Let me know:
  8. Space Dude episode 6. Wherein Space Dude continues his search for Ruby. The Yamaha PSR-190 joins the CT-390 in this one for the closest I ever got to ambient style music, I suppose.
  9. The old: the beginning of this is from practice tapes I made in the 80s with my new CT-390. The sad: this vid is about heartbreak, 😞. The screechy: 13:15 to 16:00, crank it up and pulverize yo' brain! 🤕
  10. I think I got some good dramatics out of the CT-390 in this one. Mainly from 5:30 to 9:30. Whaddya think:
  11. As Daffy Duck would say. Wah haa haa haaaaaaah, ugh. This was recorded in '91. I must have been out of my gourd! I passed this up long ago when looking for things to make videos of. But while watching a Graham Chapman bit in Monty Pythons season 2 episode 8 Archeology Today, I thought of this vid. There's a fine line sometimes between stoopid and funny. Hopefully you'll chuckle. I'm having some fun with the 390's auto-harmonize feature. I have all of Monty Python, the Kids In the Hall, and most of the Simpsons and MST3K recorded in my vast comedy library. I 💜 comedy! I got a wacky deal goin' on on my YT channel, I'm trying to make this YouTubes most hated video! Let yourself loose from your normal restrained behaviour and go and slam that down thumb! You can even leave a nasty comment! All good clean fun, have another stick of gum. P-teet, p-teet, argyle bargyle fooferon, peanut nostrils, happy clams.
  12. As proof to just how horribly old I really am check out this cartoon I made with Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising in 1931. Starring Bosko and his sweetie Honey.
  13. Take a walk with me on the Michigan side of lake Huron while I tinkle away on the CT-390. I think Sergio could add better music to the pretty scenery, but I just can't help it, I'm not as smooth as Sergio! Hey! I just invented a new saying: "as smooth as Sergio"! Yeah! Start working that into conversations you guys!😁
  14. Just a minute or so of CT-390 piano. There are 4 or 5 little piano things that I'll put in this one post I'm thinking, I'm still reviewing the tape. I took this sunrise pic of a local lake recently.
  15. Nope, it's not a cover of the E.L.O. tune (now THERE'S an obscure reference!). The CT-390's synth-ens tone sounds like sparkling sunshine so that's the theme of the video. Some choppy edits, but I cleaned up the old tape recording as good as I could.
  16. More of my goofy tunes. I know my music isn't "mature" and "sophisticated" but at least it's cheerful! This is from the B playlist on my YouTube channel, the A playlist has the harder stuff.
  17. Alright, now, how about Mondays? Yeah, me neither. This is just a quick passing shower of piano notes.
  18. https://youtu.be/u2NhGxMDsIQ https://youtu.be/u2NhGxMDsIQ A lot of the stuff on my keyboard tapes is too goofy to be put on YouTube. This is almost too goofy mainly because of the slightly annoying high pitched tone in the accompaniment. With the CT-390 you couldn't remove things like that. But this is so bright sounding and I like the chords in it so I put it on. It fits the time too, I'll make this my Salute To Spring And Summer, which cannot come too soon.
  19. Well, not really mine. These are photos from internet sites. My yard doesn't have anything in it as good as these pics. Just some simple relax-o music:
  20. Title sounds like a new species of keyboard doesn't it? Ha ha, I crack myself up. Anyhooo, this is my latest upload to YouTube. It was way too long so I edited some out, that's why there are a couple choppy transitions. Theme of video is the seasons. The summer part is just a few minutes long, and where I live that's about what it feels like sometimes!
  21. Signifying what? I'm not sure. It's some fun entertainment at least. Recorded in '91. I used another pen doodle for the video like the one 2 posts ago. And like that one this is loud 'n messy. I have 6 speakers connected to my tv, 2 woofers go through a super-bass amplifier. I like to blast out YouTube music videos that way. This will be good for that. I also have speakers on each side of my bed so I can fall asleep to the likes of Debussy's Suite Bergamasque and Nocturnes. Oh, yeah, and I use Dylan Marathon bluetooth headphones when I'm taking a ride or mowing the lawn. I have a need for tunes don't I?
  22. No it's not Pink Floyd, just me and my Casio. Me and my Caaasiooo ...Anyway, this tune just uses the CT-390's percussion tone with synth-ens and piano added, no accompaniment beat playing. I got to play the drums on this one!
  23. Wow, the embedding worked! That just goes to show you: old guys CAN learn new tricks! If you're tired of winter maybe this video will cheer you up. Spring! Summer! It's almost here!
  24. My favorite relaxing tone of the 390, chorus. I can't help but see clouds and sunrises with it, so that's the theme of the video.https://youtu.be/zC5ofP9a_wA
