Hello... I hope this is in the right forum... I want to play midi files with the Casio CT-X5000 and play along with the midi file... Does anyone here know where I can download the best and preferably free midi files for the Casio CT-X5000... And which midi files should I actually have for the keyboard.? I have already downloaded midi files on various sites, but they do not all sound equally good... So which midi files should I have GM, XG or XMf or other midi files... So which files midi files sound good on the Casio CT-X5000 and where can I best download them.? Mvg... Albert...

Just wondering if longer file names are on Casio's roadmap of enhancements for the PX-560. The limitation of 8 characters for file names pretty much requires a separate list (e.g. spreadsheet) to have a readable reference.

Hi ! After I've made my recording on midi, and when I save (or transfer) it to my pen-drive , it gets saved as ".ZMF" Due to this, I cannot import this recorded midi file into the software I use as it requires a ".MID" and several other types which do not include the ".ZMF" Please provide assistance on how to overcome this issue Thank you :)) FIRST.ZMF

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone else ran into the File Format Error while trying to add some of the downloads from this site to their XW-P1 through Data Editor. It seems to happen with the Performance menu with .ZPF files. Theres some really cool looking tracks I'd like to put on but cant seem to do it without getting the error. But only for Performance Mode. I havent had a problem with the Hex Layers. If there is already a post on this site that i missed it would be much appreciated if you could add it. I'm new to the site and new to the XW-P1 and love it so far and this forum and download site is awesome!!!. Much Thanks
