Can an expression pedal he assigned to a modulation effect or to the knobs for that matter? Can it be use of anything else besides volume?

Wow, that is a long title. 😬 What I mean by it, is that I want to know, whether I can set up one of the knobs, via the stage setting, on the PX-5S, to dynamically alter the program number, that is sent out in a program change message to an external instrument? I have already learned at a stage setting can send a one program change message, when that stage setting is selected. I just want to ad the functionality, for the user, to change the value in that program change message with a knob turn, instead of having to go in to the menus. I wonder if it is done by sending a RPN or NRPN? Jay🎹

Hello, new owner (though I've been playing it for a month). Originally I had a Roland Juno-G, which had 5 knobs with multiple layers of function. With this new Casio, I see there are 3 programmable knobs, which I know how to edit... But not to save. I believe I have to do something with the Menu Registry, which I have fiddled with - but no matter what I try to do all of my settings are lost whenever I restart my keyboard. So, would someone be able to walk me through in simple terms a step-by-step instruction on what I am meant to do, please? I've read through a bunch of this forum and see good responses to other knob related things. There is a lot of other good material to read through, though a lot of it does go over my head. Any help will be appreciated.

Greetings for everyone. Ive just register my account, but I read may interesting things here. I'm at the beginning of my adventure with XW P1, everything for that moment is quite clear, but I met some troubles with assembling four knobs. I was looking here in forums, for answer but i can't find anything helpful... Manual didn't give me any easy solution, even difficult, so here are my questions: 1.Can I control a DSP effect by one (or more) of these knobs? For example I have drawbars on Zone 1 and piano on Zone 2 and I want to get some delay effect only on piano. Is it even possible? Ive already made a satysfing DSP effect, but i dont know how to add it for my Zone 2. I know it can be only one DSP for all Zones, so the problem is that the DSP "slot" is occupied by a rotary effect? How can i do it? Is PCM voices on both Zones will give me more possibilities than above configuration? 2. Could you give me some informations about the "Controller" editing in performance mode? When i get there, i can see a lot of "empty" Control Change "slots"? What it really means? I couldnt find it in this manual...
