Good morning, I'm trying to use one (or two) of the zones of every single performance (the 3 and 4 usually) to change the sounds of the synths connected to the midi out of the Px-5s. I don't have any problem with my Fa-06 (I can change his performances without make a big work) but I have several problems with the Yamaha Mx-61 (the third keyboard of the chain). I think I have problems for the limits of my knowledge on the MSB LSB settings. Can you help me to understand how to set (in general) the Px-5s to transmit these kind of messages? I made a picture of the "reduced" screens in which are the fields I don't understand: 1) a sample of the zone 3 of one sample performance: I don't understand the "progbank out" role in the change of MSB and LSB field. 2) a sample of the MIDI "System setting" of the entire PX-5S: what are the tasks of "Stage setting change" and "Midi RX filter" in the command of external keyboards??? If possible I would like to know if there is a document (for the editor) more complete than the standard instructions which don't explain anything about the use as Master Keyboard. Thx in advance.

Good morning everybody I would like to use my PX5s in live situation both as a stage piano and a master keyboard. At the moment I am using it only as a master keyboard controlling MainStage because I don't know: 1) how to to change stage settings on my Px5s from Maintsage (though I know I can send program change, MSB and LSB messages from it). 2) if possible, how to mute and activate the local sound generator from MainStage via midi message. In fact when I want to play Mainstage's plugin and VSTs the sound generator should be, of course, off. But when I want to play my PX5s sounds I should change stage setting (as requested in point 1) and at the same time, of course, activate the local sound generator. Could you suggest me a way to do this? PS I have also a Korg R3 and an iPad running through my PX5s line in connections...I am wondering what happen to their signal if I turn on and off the local sound generator...will I be able to listen to them?

After abt 1 month of use of the PX5S I am very satisfied. This is a wonderful keyboards regarding weigth, action and, all in all, for the sounds . For its price this is unbeatable! However I ask Mike Martin or someone else informed if there are the possibilities to change something in the future as far as it concerns the firmware. The biggest shortcoming is the lack of the expression pedal. This could be solved with the possibility to address the controllers (internal or external via MIDI) to the single zones. Now via MIDI is possible to control only 1 midi channel at a time, furthermore the external midi controllers cannot be sent to external midi expander/keyboards (is it right?). We can address the controllers (only internal, right?) to the single oscillators of the hexlayers but in this case I think we are limited for the timbres, for example we cannot create a good sound of piano (needs at least 4/5 layers) together with a good sound of strings on the remaining layers. It could be very useful if we could address the functions of controllers to the single zones, not only in the common edit, now we can only able or disable them in the single zones. Thank you to everyone and happy new year, Marco
