Hello, I know this is not the intended usage, but I'd like to use my CTK-6000 for some at-home karaoke. From my understanding, I would need some kind of pre-amp to connect a microphone to the "Audio In" port of the keyboard. Is this correct, and if it is could someone recommend a simple microphone and pre-amp that I could use for this purpose? Thank you!

Hi All, I have AKG P120 mic (picture 1) and I would like to use it with my PX-S6000 keyboard. Unfortunately it has a 3-pin XLR plug (picture 2), so I bought the adapter cable (picture 3) from XLR to jack. And... guess what? No sound. I tried another adapter. No change. The mic itself works well when connected to the Behringer adapter via XLR cable. Is there something wrong with my keyboard? Or am I doing something wrong?

Is anyone else having issues with the volume of the microphone? When I plug my Shure SM58 or PG58 in via a Hosa MIT-176 XLR3F to 1/4" impedance matched adapter the volume is so muted that it doesn't cut through the rhythm and melody I am playing. I have to severely mute the volume of the accompaniment parts with the balance controls in order to have enough mic volume. Do I need to get an external mic preamp or another connection method? Any suggestions?

I just bought a WK-6600 and connected my shure SM58 dynamic microphone. The microphone has an impedance of 300 ohm (Sens 1.6mV) and the WK-6600 an input impedance of 3 kilo ohm (sens 10mV) should this work? mine is not working. The Microphone is working on other systems. If I put my fingers on the connector of the microphone, I hear a buzzing sound so it looks like the mic input does something

Does the PX-S3000 have a dedicated microphone input? If so, can any of the on-board effects be applied to that signal? Thanks! Aaron in Carmichael

I have a dynamic mic which is AKG-D5, and im plugging it into the "Mic In" with volume of mic and the keyboard in the middle level, and when the keyboard is off, just like recommended on the user guide. But i can't hear my voice through the spekears. Why is this?

First post on the forum, btw. just saying...:😀 There is a microphone input on the WK-6500, I used it once and it worked. How do I get it to record the microphone? -
Ok so I got a dynamic mic (Audio Technica Pro 61) confirmed that it worked with a guitar amp and plugged it in to the mic input on the Casio and I get nothing. What am I doing wrong?
