Hi, I have just purchased the splendid GP-300. I have a little problem : I can't save certain parameters for example for the metronome. The default volume for the metronome is 100. 75 is enough. If I change the volume from 100 to 75 with the settings menu, the new value is OK only for the "current session". If I turn off and turn on the piano later, the volume returns to 100 ! How can I set the default volume to 75 ? I have the same problem with the default beat. It is 110 and I'd like 60. Thank you.

I thought I'd try here because I don't really know anything about keyboards....I am a guitar player, but my church bought a Px-5s and I am trying to learn how to work it. I am familiar with banks and parameters because I've used guitar processors in the past, but this thing is so confusing to me. I'd like to have bank 0-0 be the piano and have bank 0-1 be synth strings 1. But I'd like to have another bank be a harp. Every time I change 0-1 to synth strings and go to a diff bank, if I hit strings it's changed to synth strings. So I change it to a harp then go back to 0-1 and hit strings and it's a harp again. What's the point in having different banks if the only option I have within a banks parameters is the same as every other parameter? Like I said I'm a guitar player but every piano player in church is freaked out by this thing. We need diff settings for our praise band and an orchestra. The praise band uses synth strings and the orchestra uses the harp but they are both string tones. And if you go to a number within any bank if you hit the strings button it goes to whatever you changed it to last. I want a harp on one and a strings on the other. This is quite frustrating to try to figure out. I want to be able to hit a button and have the sound I want. If that makes any sense.

hi everyone, hope you can help and/or find this helpful Is there a way to set a parameter, say cut off, to be controlled by a CC message, say CC#2? I have found much to my delight that my akai ewi works pretty great with the px-5s (and the xw-p1 too) but would benefit from setting certain things to breath control. I was able to use the ewi with the px-5s for an entire run of a musical playing strings, bassoon, english horn, clarinet and synth on the ewi and a bunch of stuff on the px5s like eps, organs, harp, chord holds on strings and accordion. The Ewi only takes up on zone; I set the midi channel to two so zone two was the ewi. On that zone only the ewi could play, whether it's on or not and all the other zones work beautifully still. This keyboard just keeps getting better and better. One other question, when ever I played a string sound if I tonged notes, like a wind player would, on the ewi it would repeat the last note on the attack, on the xw-p1 it does not do this. Can this have to do with release polyphony? And I f so how does one change that? Thanks Rob
