hello! as the title says, i have a CTK-5200 for almost 9 years now, and i recall using the sd card function as i remember one of my cards having the MUSICDAT folder. but right now, i'm trying to format my sd card with the keyboard to load some midis but it just doesn't want to. it displays "Err Protect", and the manual points to the sd card being write protected, but it isn't? i tested with 3 standard sd card adapters and 2 micro sd cards (2GB, 8GB) but none of them worked. one is just SD and the other is SDHC, as the manual says that these are the only types of cards compatible. i tried factory resetting the keyboard, plugged my sd cards into my PC and confirmed that they were functional and healthy, and formatted as FAT32 but the keyboard still refuses to format it. is there anything that i'm missing? any help is welcome! (and yes, the write-protect switches on the adapters are unlocked)

Hello! I recently got an older hand me down casio keyboard, and I've been having a great time trying to learn piano so far. But the tone function doesn't seem to work at all. I can press the tone key and select tones from the menu just fine, but the sound of the keys is completely unaffected. The only way to change it is to select a different song from the piano bank, but there's only 50 songs and 255 tones, so some tones are inaccessible. Is there something I'm missing? The manual for this model doesn't mention this issue either. Video Link The screen is a bit damaged and hard to read, but you can see the "TONE" indicator in the upper right. I first tried changing the tone number without exiting the menu, with exiting the menu, and lastly changing the song number in piano bank mode. As a side note, you can only switch between piano bank mode and song bank mode. You can't turn them both off as far as I'm aware.

Sometimes, when I turn on my Privia PX-5s, I will be playing around while it loads up, and when it finally does, the sustain pedal, instead of "sustaining", actually dampens, and without pressing any pedals, the keys are all automatically sustained? Is there any reason for this, could this be a short, or an issue with my keyboard. Usually if I turn it off and back on again it resets to normal with the keys working fine, and pressing the sustain pedal elongating the notes. Also, I have two pedals plugged in, one for the sustain and the other for the damper, not sure if this helps. Thanks you!

I'm trying to use some speakers from my computer, and was wondering if this stage piano can get sound from just plugging in a normal 3.5 mm audio plug-in, or is the only way to get sound output is to use an 1/4 " adapter, and plug it in from the headphone jack? I hope this question makes sense, so any help will be greatly appreciate. Essentially, to clarify, my goal is to find a workaround, from using a 1/4 " adapter, and just use instead the 3.5 mm cables, since that is what all my headphones, speakers, etc are in, and the only port those plug into is the "audio in". Thanks!
