Hello everyone, a while back (longer ago than I’d like to admit) I let some hissing from the tweeter drive me crazy enough to take the whole piano apart. I’m finally attempting to put it back together and there is one metal bracket that I cannot for the life of me figure out where it goes. It looks like it should go on the bottom but can’t find a place for it plus it’s longer than the main unit it would have to somehow fit out to both sides. I have just bought a CASIO MA-150 keyboard which has a MIDI OUT jack ("Female type"). How can I Connect this to a computer? PROBLEMS 1: Typical MIDI - to - USB connector not available in the market. PROBLEMS 2: A direct wiring from MIDI to USB does not lead to any recognition of MIDI (CASIO MA - 150) device Tried to directly make electrical connection from the MIDI OUT jack to an USB Port by various means, but Any of the MIDI ROLL PIANO software in my computer does not recognize this incoming connection (Plus horrible noise in my CASIO MA - 150 keyboard's built in loudspeakers if I try to make direct electrical connections). Also I have checked connected device in WINDOWS control panel - I didn't find any. I have tried to find CASIO driver files over the internet but it wont work. So, how could I make successful connection between my MIDI keyboard and the computer? please help me out, an early response would be highly helpful.

When I got the keyboard, I edited some aspects of the Studio Grand Piano (like Piano Effect on, and Fully Open Lid) and some EQ, and I saved it as a registration. I recently overwrote the saved registration, no problem. I made the changes again and tried to store it into the registration 4 of Bank 1 (just as an example, the problem is consistent in all banks and registrations). The Storage message is error free, however the Upper 1 sound shows a " ! " sign after editing and it is not saved at all. I change the sound and press the Reg 4 button, and I come back to a completely plain unedited sound again. The storage is being done no problem, IF I save it without any changes but editing the sound is making it impossible to store it. And this is consistent with almost any sound I try to save after applying effects from the edit menu. I've searched the entire manual countless times and even the forum but I cannot seem to figure out the problem here. Any help whatsoever would be appreciated. P.S. I did not try resetting my keyboard, which I want to avoid simply because I have a lot of custom sounds stored already, which would be a pain to restore. But if worse comes to it, I'll have to.

Hello everyone. Over the past month I've acquired two SK-1s in various states of grime and battery leak and got them all cleaned and going. When in "normal" mode, the keyboard should have 4-note polyphony. A problem I see in both SK-1s is that the polyphony fails & it doesn't even revert to mono, worse, the note you strike fails to trigger. These SK-1s are 32 or 33 years old! Are any of you familiar with this old glitch? I feel almost baffled that it happens in both keyboards. And guess what? Sometimes the polyphony just magically works correctly. Very rarely though. Thanks!

I've tried everything I can find to try to make this better but no luck. Is there some way to adjust the C, Db, D, Eb, E, F, F#, to tune them? The first four on the list are the worst. Thanks

I used my Privia Px-5s today, unplugged it and took it to band practice as normal. But when I plugged it in and turned it on, the keyboard factory reset itself. All of my recordings, factory presets, and sounds are gone. I owned this keyboard for 3 years, and it's never happened to me before. Has this happened to anyone? Is there anything I can do at this point?

Noticed that my 3.5mm audio input on the PX-5S is not working. No signal with master volume at max. Same goes for the 1/4" line inputs. Headphone jacks do work, however, along with everything else. Is there something else I should check? I tried multiple cables, just can't get the audio into the keyboard's mix. Thanks.

I'm trying to setup my XW-P1 to Ableton on my mac, what I've done is use an instrument cable going out of the XW-P1 that goes into my A/D converter which is a komplete audio 6. The problem is I want the midi information as well so I can quantize it inside ableton, I'm also getting a horrific buzzing noise that could possibly just be noise floor or what? My cables arn't crossing each other anywhere so it couldn't be that, any ideas? Please help!

So I recorded myself playing my casio priva px5s and i go trough all the steps to play it back but its silent. I took the usb drive to my pc but the wave file plays back silent there too. My usb drive is formatted corectely i dont know whats wrong.
