  2. Here, the Oxygene 4 patch, ( Jean Michel Jarre ) that i which I built using a programming principle. Enjoy and regards Oxygene.ZPF
  3. Hello, I am new to xw series of casio, just learning how to create music on it and came across this deadlock, I need to know how to loop audio samples those are on sd card, so that I could make them play over and over. Thank you for your help!
  4. Hi, When I was sold the PX360 I was told I could play full song recordings via the USB so I can play along and practice the keyboard part. I have gone through the manual and cant find instructions how to do this. Can anyone help?
  5. Can anyone pls explain how to repeat a song in my casio privia px-150 music library. For example automatically playingback repeatedly song 21 instead of it changing to another song
  6. I've been using the EHX Lester K rotary pedal recently, and although an excellent pedal, it has some faults. One of which is the fact that any note below Eb (middle) increases dramatically in volume (for some reason I've only seen this problem persist in the P1). Is there any way to lower the bass in the P1 so next time I go gigging the audience won't have to put up with the ground shaking beneath them? Also, Is there a way to get an unproccessed drawbar organ sound e.g no extra effects such as chorus or gain? I think the Lester K adds some extra nonadjustable chorus - this could be intended, but it also could be something conflicting with the P1; either way this isn't necessarily a good thing. if there is a way to get an unprocessed sound on the drawbar organ of the P1 that would most likely fix all my problems.
  7. hi everybody i'm a new owner of the xw-p1. i followed the instructions to get the xw-p1 control logic x via usb. I succeeded once, and then cannot work it out again. can anybody help me pls. Hicham
  8. Hello everyone. My new song is here. (All of keyboard parts recorded by Casio XW-P1)
  9. I recently acquired a CZ101 one but this one seems to make a clicking noise when it receives MIDI data on other channels. For example, CZ set to channel 1, notes being played on channel 16 make a clicking noise corresponding to their durations, so its not random noise. If I turn them off in the MIDI program, those other channel clicks disappear, but the receiving channel still plays the clicks from its midi on messages. Playing the same patches via the keyboard there is no such raspy clicking noises. I was hoping somebody may have encountered this problem before and new how to fix it. thanks
  10. Hey all, I'm new to this forum, but I'm looking for help repairing my Casiotone 403. I accidentally knocked it over and it now no longer powers on. If anyone happens to have any experience with these and could point me in the direction of the possible components which might've failed, I would be eternally grateful.
  11. Hi i am selling my HZ600 anyone interested? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201838601525?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 I can also sell it outside ebay, make me an offer! Thanks! ( i am not sure if this is allowed on this forum, but if its not ill just remove the post, accept my apologies!) Bye, from another Casio Freak! Paolo
  12. Name that sound. I did this on the G1 and used Mike Martin's G1 Live Clinic from 2013 as a guide. Mike Martin and the XW G1/P1 If you got a good set of headphones? <-- put them on. Name that sound.wav It's not perfect, but good enough. Name that sound. Who made it and why. (that's the tricky part) If you win you will receive 10 fake internet points at a value of $o.oo USD. No coupons and or other offers apply, because it doesn’t matter.
  13. I did a fun tune for you and me (the 14';th begin a year older for me.. ). But i got wiser, i chase young girls (40 + Single and they have to be-able to play key's) now.
  14. Please tell me how to download different tones from the net for the piano
  15. I was building a performance containing tone 288 and two others. Tone 288 is a VA tone with a drop and rise at the end which continuous as long as the keys are hold. I like the first segment of that tone and tried to cut the rest of by editing it and make the release long enough before that typical part comes to bit and have the release draw it short how I wanted it. But while editing that tone the release holds good on +00 to 64+ until, trying to get it short while setting value's from -00 to -64 it keeps the full play from beginning to the end of sample where I would expect the tone to be just long enough as the release to be. Nothing happens the value's only seem to work from +00 up to 64+. Is that how far editing a tone gets to be or is there a fault at work. I do have a work around containing arpeggio and step sequencer but it makes that tone monophonic which I don't want.
  16. Is there any way to configure the XW-P1 so that I may switch between performance presets using an unlatched footswitch or a sustain pedal? Changing the preset via the + or - button is a little difficult while playing with both hands. I've checked the main settings in the P1 but I can't find a way to do so. Thank you!
  17. Whatever sound your trying to make Vintage or EDM Solo-synth or Performance if you want the sound to break through, the mix when using the sample looper or Daw don't make any use of the EQ unless there are certain frequency needed balancing it in the mix. Just my two cents of tips.
  18. A performance patch called Trap&Bass available in download. I merely did this not knowing what would turn out but I wanted it sounding Big and yes the XW-G1 is capable of creating Big Sounds. Deleted the last one his one more fun.

  20. Hello everyone!, This is my first post to this group, and although I read thru the FAQ and AlenK's XW-P1 companion I still can't find the answer to my question. The XW-p1 has MIDI settings for zones and and parts and a general MIDI channel setting, but I want to be able to communicate with the XW-P1 thru a global channel to at least to select a patch. I have found that if I set the general midi channel to 3 (for example) the instrument will still only respond to a global command like volume (CC 07) thru MIDI ch1. I have many keyboards that I need to control from my foot pedal (FCB1010) and the other keyboards I can simply set the midi channel and send patch changes and CC messages with no problem. Now the WX-P1 is very powerful, and I expect to use the zone settable midi channels to parallel keyboards and program user patches accordingly. But I need to be able to access these patches thru one settable channel (other than CH1). So that being said, what does the basic MIDI channel setting do? The Manual says NRPN and other midi messages, but can I change patches thru the MIDI channel set here? It seems that unless I use the default channels programmed into the factory presets, I will need to edit each patch just to change the midi channel and save it as a user setting. Am I missing something?
  21. I am looking for an official Casio MIDI driver, preferably one specifically for the XW-P1. Under the "Devices and Printers" section of the Control Panel on my computer, the device comes up as "CASIO USB-MIDI" with a Microsoft generic driver, not an official Casio one. I have scoured the Casio support website for a long time now in search of an official driver and nothing has come up. No drivers for this synthesizer model. No generic MIDI drivers whatsoever. Just the 1.11 firmware update and the Data Editor. All I need is a link to the MIDI driver download. I run Windows 7.

  24. Queens solo-synth Break Free. View File First attempt to create synth sound from "Queens Break-Free" Queen allegedly used Oberheim OB synth to create this, The G1 has Oberheim samples for both the synth and PCM parts within the solo-synth. For the synth part its 0087 - 0101 For the PCM part its 1767 - 1781 I've tried to figure out how to make that rich fat sound but I can't identify it yet. However I've found using sample 0046 MG Square L for synth part a better option to come close at it. So I'm guessing its a square wave and now have to figure out how to fatten it up and to make the sound glide down. maybe using portamento but a single stroke from the last note going down a few octaves also work.
