Hi, I have a CTK-2400 that I am using as a MIDI device for FL Studio. It's really annoying when sound is coming from the speakers from my keyboard as well as the speakers on my computer when I'm making a song in FL Studio. I know you can turn local control off, but having to do this gets really irritating every time I turn on my keyboard. Is there a way to permanently keep local control off? Or disable the speakers?

Connected USB to USB port on 3 separate laptops and tried every which way. 2 are Window 10 and 1 is Vista. Windows driver installs however absolutely no way to access the CTK-2400 via the laptop. In the manual on page 32 it implies there is an application that will be downloaded upon the connection. Is this a lie? What am I missing? What is the name of the application? The .exe file to be downloaded? Where can I get this file? -
I am relatively new to music, so forgive the ignorance. Can I use my CTK-2400 simply as a midi controller? Would I have to always go through my laptop, or can I plug directly into other midi devices?
