MickeyMoose555 Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 I found a CTK-720 at a Goodwill and would like to connect it to my Lenovo G-50 with Windows 10 with midi. I have tried downloading everything off of the included disc but it all seems to be outdated. Please help me figure this out so i can use my keyboard! Quote
- T - Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Download and install the driver from this site: http://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=72 The web page only lists Win-7 and Win-8, because Win-10 had not yet been released when this web page was designed, but most members here, who have downloaded it for Win-10 have had success, but be advised that some Win-10 OS/hardware combinations have no end of problems with USB-MIDI. This appears to be a BIOS issue with certain versions/releases of PC/Laptop hardware. One precaution - if your PC/Laptop is a newer model with USB-2 and USB-3 ports, connect the keyboard's USB port to one of the PC/Laptop's USB-2 ports, as most USB-3 ports have problems with USB-MIDI. If you need a manual for the CTK-720, you can download a PDF copy from here: http://support.casio.com/manualfile.php?rgn=5&cid=008005015 Be patient! It took me 6 or 7 tries to finally get a complete download. - T - Quote
