vbdx66
Depends on what you want to do. Soundwise, the Casio is better. It also has a 6-tracks MIDI recorder (only two tracks on the Yamaha). That said, the arpeggiator has more patterns on the E363 (150 vs. 100 for the CT-X700) and they are also more varied on the Yamaha. The quality of the rhythms or styles (same thing) is outstanding on the Casio, but you are somewhat limited to the onboard rhythms. Theoretically, you can upload up to 10 new rhythms at once to te Casio but apart from the CT-X5000 rhythms which were converted for the CT-X700 by @Chandler Holloway there are few external rhythms available, while there are literally hundreds of free styles available for the Yamaha. The Reverb and Chorus module is better and more versatile on the Casio. Also, some of the patches on the Casio have DSP applied to them, although these DSP are presets and cannot be modified. There is one great feature of the Yamaha which the Casio doesn't have, though: an integrated digital audio interface. This basically means that you can for instance control your iPad or computer from the E363 and have the digital audio from your iPad or computer coming out from the sieajers of the E363, or conversely, that you can record the audio output of the E363 directly on your iPad or computer without using any external interface. Very convenient. A serious flaw on the design of the CT-X700 is also that you cannot adjust the relative volume output of the Upper 1, Upoer 2 and Lower voices. That being said, by all means go to a music shop near your home and try out both keyboards at length and choose the one you like best. They are both outstanding value for money. And if your keyboard skills are somewhat limited, go with a better skilled friend or with your keyboard teacher, or have a shop vendor demonstrate both keyboards for you. Hope this helps 😎
