David Pansini Posted July 9, 2020 Share Posted July 9, 2020 As far as I'm aware, half dampening is only offered through the SP-34 plugged into the DIM jack. If you view the options for the Expression/Assignable jack, half dampening is not offered, but dampening is. My understanding of this setting is just basic on/off dampening. uberhaus Posted March 15, 2021 Share Posted March 15, 2021 PianoManChuck walks through the process of using the expression jack to do half-dampening in this video. He's actually using an expression pedal, but I believe if you find a damper-pedal with half-dampening support and polarity switch the process should work the same.
