Barry
Hi Members, I got the CTK-X5000 and after a few hours decided to record this tune. The title probably describes me for doing it. Anyhow I got the keyboard to go round some of our local nursing homes and provide a little amateur musical entertainment. It is an amazing keyboard for the price of it. My Partner Judy is the gifted one who plays the Classical pieces and Jazz and all sorts. I am just the musical hacker. Anyhow You can find the recording by clicking here. I hope you enjoy listening. Tsquare
How lovely. Jealous of your AiX sound since my PX560 has the AiR chip. Really makes that sax sing. The backing rhythm is excellent too. Great job!
Barry
Hi Tsquare, Many thanks for your lovely comment. It is very much appreciated. As far as the sound goes, I would not worry too much about that as your PX560 sounded great to me. Can I ask what you recorded your piece with because it really was darn good? Tsquare
I use the built-in PX560's midi recorder for each individual track. Once I have assembled all the "layers", I then use the PX560's audio recorder to make the final wav file. I convert the wav to mp3 with Audacity for a smaller and more popular format. Barry
Hi Tsquare, Sorry for the late reply. That takes some talent to do what you have done there working in layers. If you enjoy doing that sort of thing you would probaby get appreciation for it on our forum. I have not looked at the Midi side of the X5000 yet. I would like to see if I can use midi out and use it for my Harmoniser. Have a a great weekend down there. I shall be back in Virginia when I can get an air corridor again.
