Priscilla
I'm using Logic Pro x (most recent one) and my casio's midi only comes from my piano. I need it to come from my laptop so I can edit other tracks properly, but those tracks come from the laptop and the piano comes form the keyboard. I have the keyboard plugged in by USB directly into the laptop. Any suggestions? I've done this before, but I can never remember how to fix it. Joe Muscara
USB only transmits MIDI data, not audio. If you want to have the audio from the keyboard go into Logic then you'll need to connect the audio out from the keyboard to an audio input on your Mac. If your Mac doesn't have audio input, you'll need an interface. Or. you can just use the CDP-S100 as a controller and only use the sounds in Logic. There are decent pianos in there as well as third party ones available. Just turn down the volume on the CDP-S100 and listen through the computer.
