granitehead Posted January 28, 2022 Share Posted January 28, 2022 I have a CT-X800. I am successfully sending midi to it from my DAW (Presonus Studio One) via the USB. The problem is it will only play Stage Piano (tone setting 001) regardless of what I set it to. When I play the keys, yep, it's Honky Tonk, but the tone from the external midi is alway 001. I've tried sending on all 16 midi channels from the DAW, but only channel 10 does anything different: Plays drums as expected. How do I get something other than 001-Stage Piano? Here's what's super frustrating: I sucessfully did this about 4 years ago and forgot how I did it!! Aghhh!!! I hate getting old.... TIA!
