Mike Martin
File Name: Riders Storm / Larry's RoadzFile Submitter: Mike MartinFile Submitted: 15 Apr 2014File Category: Electric Pianos and ClavsThis is a Rhodes preset that I originally made for "Riders on the Storm" by the Doors after listening to an isolated track. Then I also was able to spend some time with Larry Dunn and his Rhodes 88 side by side with the PX-5S and made some further adjustments. Slider 6 is the reverb amount. Pushing the Modwheel UP will disable the tremolo.Version 2 added - Modwheel works "normal" and release time tweaked to make it snappier. Tone volume increased.Click here to download this file

dc2k
very nice. Been wondering about stage settings like this. The only zone used is zone 1 where a hex layer tone is saved. If I just saved that hex layer tone, how does that tone alone compare to saving the entire stage setting. What would I be losing if I discarded the stage setting and saved the hex layer tone? Would I just be discarding the way the user's preferred controls for that tone or would I loosing audio elements of the tone too?Hope that makes sense. Mike Martin
You can save the Hex Layer sound. It will work fine in other Stage Settings. You'll lose the slider/knob assignments for this sound if you use it in another Stage Setting.
