Michael Anders
When I play chords and hold them and turn the cut off knob nothing happens. After I hit the keyboard again the sound changes. Why does the polysynth cut off not react like the monosynth cutoff? Can this be changed?I did not find any option. Peter
Are you talking about the HexLayers or the PCM sounds ?
Michael Anders
I am talking about the PCM sounds.
Peter
That's how things are. There are no real time controlls for the PCM or the HexLayers. (Although there is a workaround for the HexLayers). Only the solosynth has real time controlls, like the filter cutoff.
florent
You might try to route your PCM sound to the TotalFilter of the SoloSynth, then by assigning the knobs in a performance you can adjust cuttoff and resonance of the filter in realtime, you can also use the LFO's or the phrase sequencer to automate the control ... BretM explains the process in at least two threads (using the dsp as well) : * http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/topic/7341-px-5s-arp-angel/* http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/topic/7681-step-noodles/ hope this will help
Michael Anders
I suppose that you mean this:http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/topic/6160-using-the-xws-resonant-filter-with-polyphonic-tones/ Thank you for help. :-) It is a pity that it works only indirectly. BrettM
You can also use a one-step arpeggio to give near real-time control to PCM tones, as described here: http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/topic/7617-whats-the-point-of-a-one-step-arpeggio/
