Mrcc93
I just got my new Privia PX-5S today and am currently trying to set it up. I have all the cables in place. All that is missing is SOUND. I've been going through the owners manual to try to find the answer but am unable to find one. I didn't know if there were built in speakers that just aren't working? I've even plugged in M-AUDIO studio speakers and there is still no sound. I've tried playing the piano while adjusting the knobs, yet, still no sound. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!-Clint
dc2k
There are no speakers on board. You do need speakers of some description or headphones. You might not have your speakers connected properly.
Display Name
Hi Clint and welcome to the Casio Music Forums. You probably have the speakers plugged into the line in jack of the PX-5S - you need to plug the speakers into the LINE OUT or HEADPHONE jack. Make sure the volume is up on both the speakers and PX-5S.
Joe Muscara
If you're still having trouble with the advice above, try a set a headphones in the HEADPHONE jack.
