Clean Rhodes Bank1
By Mike Martin
Lots of discussion about this particular sound so I thought I'd give a few here for people to play with. Feedback appreciated.
My process:
Start with one of the existing preset tones Select DSP and Bypass the existing effects to hear the basic tone Dial in a new DSP effect - I mostly used the Re-Amp or distortion ones, but I'm not going for any distortion just the tone shaping tools that are here. The amp sims have a Preamp/Drive section plus the "speaker" they're on two different DSP blocks. For a couple of these I used the preamp set to CLEAN and actually bypassed the Speaker Sim but there are over 90 speaker sims worth checking out. Some of these algorithms have tone or EQ stages which can dramatically shape the overall tonal character. You can additionally use the knobs to adjust filter, reverb mix and other parameters to taste Additional trick - adjust release slight to the left of center. It will make the EP snappier overall.233 downloads
