  1. Like i said earlier, i'm not good at making generic styles, but i hope you like it..
  2. I could try to make a motown style, but i'm not really good at those! I'll give it a go!
  3. Well, because i first want to know if this is something that people like stylewise. AND if people want me to create specific styles..
  4. Yeah, really great stuff, this guy knows his way around it! Kris Nicholson also does reviews (KMNKeyboardVault) but his overplaying gets annoying after a while, and KeyboardKrazy just really plays because he wants to show the instrument, and not himself.
  5. He's uploading one every day so presumably Sunday all the sounds are uploaded. I have to be honest, i'm impressed by the DSPs, they sound stunning! And the completely new sounds are really great, but the rest?.. I'm just not quite sure, it's not a CTK anymore, but it's also NOT a MZ-X, but i tries to hard to be completely new, while it's still presumably 75% CTK DNA, if you know what i mean? Kudo's to Michael for uploading this! He's a great guy and a skilled player and has tons of keyboards!
  6. It's been a week since i've got the MZ-X300! And i really love it, the UI is fantastic, the ease of use! And the way you can create styles on it like it's nothing is incredible. So far i've created a total of 9 styles on the machine, and i would like to give you a listen to them and hope to get some feedback from you, if you want to give me that.. (Some aren't finished in the video's but are by now!) If there is demand for Casio styles then i can try to recreate songs you would like to have a songstyle for, or i can create a certain genre of music (Although i'm not really good at generic styles) I hope this is allowed! And OF COURSE! If other people have created styles on the MZ-X range please drop them here in my topic
  7. It's not the LK-125, it doesn have the button next to the volume slider in the video. It's the LK-165
  8. This video shows you all the Solo! sounds and versatile tones on the MZ-X 300 (And MZ-X500)
  9. wow, sorry for not being allowed calling it a machine 😒 It's an instrument, but it's also a machine. A Yamaha Genos is a fantastic instrument, but a very powerful machine. Just like the MZ-X
  10. It does sound a bit thin (probably because the Audio bitrate on the computer is set to 128kbps...) but it sounds pretty realistic if you ask me, through the speakers of the machine it's incredible.
  11. Seriously? So it can now have one DSP insert per accomp thingy? So rotary on the organ, chorus on the piano, phaser on the strings, compressor on the drums?!
  12. Testing out the Grand Piano sound on the MZ-X300 the day i got it! It's full of mistakes, but i think it captures the piano sound pretty okay.
  13. There is "some" I think there are a total of 60 styles available for this machine, and i'm going to create more for it, i want to have 100 styles for the MZ-X (Song styles and non-specific styles) by the end of the summer.
  14. Ah, i had no clue! Thank you very much for responding Brad!
  15. My Firmware is 1,60 so that's great! However, if i plug it in to the computer it makes the usb connected noise, but nothing shows up, so i can't put styles or other stuff on it or expot from it.. Or am i missing something?
  16. I could buy a new in box MZ-X300 for the price of a CT-X800, so of course i did that today! And well, i'm a bit overwhelmed in places, the machine looks incredible, it sounds really good, the speakers are fantastic, the touchscreen is REALLY intuitive! And it's just a great machine. But i'm also a tiny bit underwhelmed with a few things.. The touchscreen is great, the OS is, but sometimes it's a bit to sensitive for my taste.. I've already created a style for it: However, i can't create breaks on the machine? With my Tyros i could easily create breaks, but with the Casio a break is just some silence ? And i can't seem to do anything with that, that's a shame. Before i forget, is it easy to create your own sounds for it by sampling and putting them together in the Casio Manager thing? And where do i download that..? Oh and credit is where credit's due, it completely BLOWS AWAY my Tyros when it comes to the realism of some of those Organ sounds and even the guitars sounds pretty great now (Distortion Guitar 6 is my favourite so far)
  17. I had the PA700 and apart from the DNC stuff which i really loved (Man do those choirs and saxes sound GOOD!) i actually like the Casio sounds and styles more.. The 300 is a tricked down version of that, so i'm guessing that you're gonna love it even more!
  18. No Casio keyboard supports XG or GS, Roland keyboards DID support XG and Yamaha (Obviously) Polyphony of 64 notes is a bit of a let down if you consider that the S670 and PA300 have 128 notes and aren't that much more expensive.. However! You must consider that this is the MOTL for Casio and that the S670 and PA300 are MOTL for Korg and Yamaha, but they have more technology at hand to put in their machines because of them having lots of technological advances (Megavoices in 2001, Sweet! voices in 1996, 128 notes of polyphony in 1998, 4 variations in the mid 90s) Whils't Casio only featured Megavoices (Versatile Tones) in 2015, Sweet! voices (Solo voices with Vibrato) since 2015, 128 notes of polyphony in 2015, and 4 variations on 2 arrangers since 2000 (The MZ-2000 was the first, 15 years later you get the X-300 and X-300... That's why the S975 is a small brother for the Tyros 5 for 40% of the Tyros 5 price, and that will ALSO be the case for the Genos, whenever there will be a PSR S990 or PSR S1xxx it will be roughly 40% the price of the Genos, but it will still feature many things the Genos has. Casio can't do that because for Casio the CT-X range IS their MOTL, even the MZ-X hasn't got THAT many features and that IS their TOTL..
  19. I actually really like straight 8 beat for it, especially the variation on the CTK-7200. (So that'll be Variation 3 or 4 on the CT-X) give it a try!
  20. Well, you definitely understood what i was asking, but to be honest.. I have no clue what you are saying
  21. Version 1.0.0

I'm working on an 80s pack for the CTK/WK series (Or every other model that supports the .AC7 format) and this is the one i'm most proud of. Hope you could give me some feedback, and i hope you like it!

  23. Yeah, i would like to have it display the name of the style instead of "No Data" I have no clue about renaming it any other way..
