Hi Brad, do you mean that Casio uses a real hammeraction in such a cheap keyboard? I don't think so because i have also a Roland Juno DS 88 with weighted hammeraction keys and they feels a lot heavier. by the way sorry for my english.

Hi Brad, I 've tried to make a proper recording but thats not possible with the equipment i use. It's the sound of one of the springs of the keys i think. And it is only audible when i play my keyboard with the volume almost on zero. So i think i am a little hairsplitter too, But thanks anyway. Kind regards , Richard

Hi everyone, Do other users also have a keyboard with some noisy keys in it? Especially the middle C is more noisy then the other ones. Is this because the keyboard or more specific the keybed is cheap or do i simply have bad luck? By the way this is my 2nd one the first one i had returned it to the reseller for the same reason. The problem of the 2nd one started one week a go. And the 1st one had it from the beginning. I am very curious about other experiences or maybe i am a hairsplitter. Regards, Richard

I agree, it would be great if Casio puts a few good how to tutorials online. And maybe a downloadable set of preset pad phrases and also a set of extra rhytm styles like Yamaha do. Its a very good keyboard but the user interface is very unintuitive and sucks to work with. Regards Richard

Hi i understand your feelings because i feel the same about that and like you i am not able to make my own styles because of a lack of knowledge and skills at the moment i hope that i will be able to do so in the future but at the moment i rely also on other people styles. So i will make a call to every one who can make styles to share them in this community and make them available for download that would be very nice. Although the CT X 5000 is a very good keyboard and the lack of free available styles is for me not a reason not to buy it.

I wonder why the Casio CT X line does'nt support General midi level 2 and even beter XG or GS. It also lacks an audioplayer/ recorder functionality for wave or mp3. And also just a polyphony 64 notes. Very poor in contrast with the other big brands like PSR S670 or PA300 or BK5. So i have i little doubt to purchase the CT X5000

Thats my wish too, but i think the problem is the image of the brand Casio in this market. Casio has a very good price quality ratio but can't compete with brands like korg and Yamaha soundwise and also their professional studio effects are from a much higher level. How ever i own a brandnew PSR S775 but in my opinion even the keybed of the Casio CT X 700 offers a much better feel and playability. Well done Casio. I can't wait till the CT X5000 is available in the Netherlands. I will buy it as an extra keyboard. I have heared the CT X 700 and was very impressed soundwise compared to my € 1.049,00 Yamaha PSR S775. Its not better in a absolute way but you have also compare the price and then Casio is the winner for me.
