  1. Thank you Many for your reply. I have downloaded the file again (size after extracting was the same as yours 244 497 KB) and upgraded my mzx with success using the procedure listed in my previous post. I think this should be good idea when Casio will provide total size of file in KB when providing update. Then before mzx update we are sure that we have proper file on USB.
  2. Thank you All, I use below procedure from instruction and it woke up and updated, so I have 1.60 version now. It's nice to have it back again :-) From the other hand this is good information that Brad said that it is sufficient to turn it off and it should come back to previous firmware version.
  3. Hello Everybody, I was trying to update version of my mz-x 500 from 1.50 to 1.60 today. After some attempts finally I downloaded update 1.60 so I copied it to USB and try to update. The procedure looks like during last update, means after checking file the screen with write command appear (see attached picture). I have this screen more than 2 hours and nothing happened like the update got sucked. In my opinion nothing will change after another hour or more. Can anyone advise me if I can do something to abandon the update procedure? In the instruction there is warning that instrument should not be touched during update. Thank you in advance for your help
