  1. Hello, I am looking to purchase the new ctx700 in a few months to replace my seven-year-old ctk-4000, and I have a quick question about extra rhythms and song bank melodues I would be able to download to the unit. I remember on my old ctk-4000 for songs and rhythms which U Stored yourself or created with the Rhythm editor, you needed to have the D batteries inserted into the unit for backup. I was wondering, will I need to place a set of double a batteries in the ctx700 if I want to save my rhythms and songs that I downloaded to the unit on data manager if for example say I unplug the unit before a large lightning storm? I know the manual did in fact say that you could expand the songs and rhythms, but I couldbr find a place in the manual if it had one that said whether or not you need to keep batteries in the unit for backup. Any help is accepted and thanks in advance! :-) spatcher
