I am recording into LogicproX and looking at event data before even pressing a key and see a lot of SysEx messages being recorded?? its says Non-Co...ial SysEx whatever that means??

I initialized midi and turned off high resolution- and it went back to single channel-- I really don't know this keyboard all that well. I don't think the manual was all that straight forward as I remember. I don't know about how to turn zones on and off etc. I am a seasoned midi guy- I bought this keyboard mostly for triple action feel- but I really would like to use more the the controller functions. I did also turn local control off- I don't use internal sounds anyway. I was surprised to find out no volume pedal- or it at least won't put out midi volume to logic with a pedal. I ended up buying a $200 midi pedal. Anyway my dilemma is solved for now- and Thx for those that responded

I am recording one part into Logic and see the same three notes on three midi channels?? How do I get this to output on one midi channel only ?? Thx

I contacted Apple support- They are awesome- got me right to a Logic Pro person- he had me disable all control surfaces in preferences- fixed the problem. I use softie console one- but everything seems to be working again!!- I also trashed the control surface preference file- will have to restart - and maybe that would have solved it too- but for the time being- the disabling all control surfaces fixed it- Thx for everyones help

turning off High res doesn't solve this-I have no idea what to filter? If I filter out sustain- then sustain won't be recognized. - I went to reset category in 'Midi" in preferences and checked midi cont 7 for sustain in both internal and for external instruments- nothing same problem This is a devastating problem- I can't use this keyboard with Logic-- Ive had this keyboard for about 2 months and first month and a half did not have this problem

Yes- as I say in previous text- I opened Garageband- and it didn't make PX sustain hang? Again I reinstalled Logic- still hangs

This issue started with the original pedal that came with PX- I am connecting with USB- I used it this way for about a month and a half with no issue- this just recently started happening- the interface I have is Focusrite 2i2- the usb cable is coming right from the computer though- not the interface - the yamaha pedal works fine until usb is plugged in- as soon as I open Logic- the pedal hangs. The original pedal just stopped working altogether. Also - i reinstalled Logic- still hangs- I opened garageband- doesn't hang? This is baffling- I only use Logic- and I can't record anything with this keyboard because of this issue Thx

So far Im really hating this keyboard!! Pedal stop working after a few weeks- not- when I open LogicProX the sustain hangs on-I can't use this to record with - this really sucks!!! I have initialized so many times- nothing- no new updates

sorry for responding so late- Logic 10.4.1- I did update Logic sometime back- my original square pedal that came with the keyboard stopped working- so I used my regular Yamaha- and it works but as soon as I boot up Logic- it hangs- everytime

This issue just started recently- overtime I open LogicPro the sustain pedal hangs - on - all notes sustained? I have reset etc- still does this overtime- again Just started
