  1. Long story short: the way the keys are designed, nothing to worry about.

I was owner of CT-X3000 and after almost 10 month of light usage keys started making clicking sound. Mostly C4, C5, etc as vbdx66 said...

Couple of weeks before my warranty expired I brought it Service Center.

They hold it for couple of weeks and call me to get it back. Once I arrived I asked what they fixed.

They said not much, just tightened the screws.

To see more how the keybed designed, follow this thread:  "CT-X700 Teardown from Youtube"

Once I learned all this stuff, I bought second hand CT-X800 and stopped worrying about keys.

    Casio did great job.

  2. There is no better value for the money exists than CT-X800 or CT-X3000, depending what is your need.

I was one of the first owners of  CT-X3000, love it.  Sold it later because I am not using all features. Bought second hand almost new CT-X800 for the fraction of the price and couldn't be more happier. Was little worried about keybed quality, but after I learned how i'ts designed, it is not my concern anymore.

I can assure everyone that Casio is aware of all requests and concerns posted on this forum, including this particular one.  They will take your requests into consideration and decide if it's something they can do on the current model, or add to future models.

I support this request to Casio to release Firmware upgrade for CT-X800 and include "Upper1, Upper2 and Lower voices volume control" in it.

  4. This will work for sure.Thank you for the explanation, I really appreciate it.

Just to clarify what I was looking for one song ( potentially to use pedal later to loop through Registration )

    ACCOMP: ON

    Bank 02, Registration 1:     Rhythm A, Variation 1, Tone A

    Bank 02, Registration 2:     Rhythm A, Variation 3, Tone B

As you can see, I am not changing Rhythm, just Variation and Tone.

    Good to know limitations.

  5. Hello,

    At least two tones:

    220 Versatile Electric Bass 1
    221 Versatile Electric Bass 2

have issue when pressing key doesn't produce any sound.

It can be any random key, like 3-4 sequential keys make sound, then pressing next one -  silence.

My keyboard is CT-X3000 but I assume tone list should be same for CT-X5000 as well.

Can somebody please check with their unit ?

    Thanks

  6. I am so glad I found this post !

Got myself my first Casio keyboard  CT-X3000 and stumbled across this puzzle: what each song title means in Music Preset List ?

Can figure couple of them, but most is not descriptive at all.

I just sent e-mail to Support asking if they can provide more information.

Is some body willing to post update list, so we can can move from there ?

  7. I have got CT-X3000 recently and also wondering how to navigate through Music Preset List.

Some of the titles are not descriptive at all, which defines purpose of having this List available.

It wonders me why Casio spent time and money to develop it if we can not use it...

Can anybody share their experience please ?

  8. Hello,

Not sure if this is right place to post my question, but let's give it a try.

I just got my CT-X3000 recently  and I couldn't be more happier. Great job CASIO !

While I like the idea, many of the names are not descriptive at all.

Anybody know where I can find more information/description to each of the songs in Music Preset List ?
