  1. Thanks for your patience. I figured it out. Love this keyboard!!!!!!
These worked!!! And I thank you!!
  2. Hi Brad. Thanks for responding. I loaded the instrument definitions from a post here on this forum (gratefully). And, they all work perfectly. And by saying 'work', I mean when I set the bank/patch in each of the 16 Cakewalk tracks, my track in Cakewalk plays that instrument exactly. It's when I press play on the 560 that the previously mentioned midi channels flip to the one sound that corresponds to Part 1 on the 560's mixer.
  3. Maybe you can help me. Channels 3,4,6,7,10,11,14 and 15 all hold their bank/program information. Track 1 has assigned midi channel 1, Track 2..midi channel 2 etc. All the other channels seem to conform to the bank/program assignment for track# and midi channel 16. I am using bandlab's Cakewalk and I've looked for a possible solution and can't find one. This will probably be obvious to you though. Thank you. also: there is no sys ex or anything hidden being sent to the 560 from Cakewalk. I checked the event view for that. The midi recorder is not in use. thanks Michael
  4. Whoah. Thanks for responding, Brad. So, I should stay with one Midi In port. Should I leave on all my tracks on midi channels 1-16 respectively or make them omni? The one midi channel that doesn't seem to want to do the correct program bank change is midi channel 1. (is that the default 'system' channel?) Thanks for the help. It does seem to be working now...not even sure why... thank you Michael
  5. And, can a different midi channel be assigned to each 'part' in the mixer view.?
  6. Thanks for your quick response. I changed it from its default C to A.
  7. Hi. This will probably sound basic. And, I'm probably missing something obvious. But. I have 16 midi tracks in a Cakewalk project. All of them assigned midi outs 1-16 respectively and each with its own bank and patch set up in the Inspector. Yet, the 16 different tones do not stay once I press play. One tone will be shared with 3 of the other tracks instead of their given tones. Any advice is SO appreciated. Michael
