  1. My understanding is PX350 and PX360 are pretty similar, except for the video user interface on the PX360. Could you save your all you data settings from the PX350 and load them into the PX360 (is the PX360 sort of backward compatible?). Jeff
  2. I would suspect there might be a real legal issue if another keyboard manufacturer used it to name the keyboard. I wouldn't think there is a legal issue for construction management software.
  3. In the display window, it shows whether there is an intro and accompaniment (I think those are the two). I just push the button for intro to turn it off and the button to turn off the accompaniment. Then I save the preset as a Registration following the steps in the manual. I hope that helps. (I am not the most advanced in this, but I try to muddle my way through). Jeff
  4. First, I don't think there are nearly enough Registration slots to save all the presets. I think there are 96 Registration slots. (I once posted a suggestion that Casio expand the available Registration slots at least ten-fold in future synths). But, if you save a preset in a Registration slot, you can save it with the rhythm, accompaniment, etc turned off. (I have about 1/2 of my Registration slots filled and I do not use rhythms/accompaniment). Jeff
  5. Hello, I own a CTK-7200 (two actually). I just bought a used WK-7600. (I want to basically have 3 duplicate rigs, except one would include the WK-7600 instead of a CTK-7200). I spent a fair amount of time creating registration banks with some layers/splits etc. I also have some user tones and use drawbar organ tones. So, basically I want to replicate everything on my current CTK-7200 onto my new WK-7600. So, I guess is would need a memory card and I would "batch save all Digital Keyboard data" onto the memory card and then "batch load all Digital Keyboard data" onto the WK-7600. Then it should exactly mirror the CTK-7200? When I turned off/on the WK-7600 it should then retain the new mirrored settings/data. Anything else I should know be careful about? Could I just connect the keyboards without using a memory card and do the same thing? Oh, I just realized another possibility. Could I just back up all (CTK-7200 Digital Keyboard Data) on my computer (PC) and batch load it from there onto my WK-7600? Thanks, [UPDATE: Successfully accomplished using an SD card I had. Manual was not too tough to follow (even for me)]. Jeff
  6. Try splitting Synth Strings (upper) with Tubular Bell (bottom). (Maybe add some reverb)
  7. I am thinking of picking up a used WK 7600. I am basically looking for a duplicate for my CTK 7200. But, since that was discontinued, I think I can pick up a WK 7600 cheaper. My understanding is the only difference is the number of keys (61 v 76). Did the WK 7600 change at all since it was introduced? Or is it exactly the same since its introduction (I think in 2010)? Thanks. Jeff
  8. Thanks, Casio_Style. I think that is all beyond my technical ability. I am still hoping in the future Casio expands available Registrations in its new keyboards to 1000 or so (the more, the better). Thanks, everyone!
  9. It looks like this may be an option as well: https://techinmusiced.wordpress.com/2016/08/03/yamaha-ud-bt01/
  10. Does this work with the CTK7200: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/WUBT10--casio-wu-bt10-wireless-bluetooth-midi-audio-adapter-for-ct-s400-ct-s410-and-lk-s450?mrkgadid=3344196881&mrkgcl=28&mrkgen=gpla&mrkgbflag=0&mrkgcat=studio&recording&acctid=21700000001645388&dskeywordid=92700046938656239&lid=92700046938656239&ds_s_kwgid=58700005285225342&ds_s_inventory_feed_id=97700000007215323&dsproductgroupid=778908445653&product_id=WUBT10&prodctry=US&prodlang=en&channel=online&storeid=&device=c&network=g&matchtype=&adpos=largenumber&locationid=9004545&creative=360738227978&targetid=pla-778908445653&campaignid=2055912425&awsearchcpc=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIp7qq2ciX8QIVEv2zCh0BPAAfEAQYASABEgIsufD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Basically, I am looking for a wireless way of sending program changes from my Mobilesheets app (Android) to automatically change to the correct sound on my CTK7200. (So, when I open a new song in Mobilesheets, it will automatically send a program change, via bluetooth, to change to the sounds on on my CTK7200 to the ones I need for the song). Thanks for any help. Jeff
  11. Thanks. Yep, didn't expect it soon. The way I function, (in addition to some jazz gigs, playing just piano) I am playing in several rock/pop bands (not my day job). I try to get a lot of bang for the buck (thank you, Casio!) and use the $$ on duplicate keys. So, I have two CTK7200s and three PX350s (I just bought probably one of the last newish (I think it was a return) ones available), so I don't have to tear down my rig at my home (I use the 2nd PX350 for gigs and I am keeping the third PX350 at my band's rehearsal location). When I practice my keyboard parts, I note all the sounds on the charts (which I keep in a Mobilesheets on an Android). So, I don't have much need for other keys. I want to always use the same keyboard set up I practice with. Anyway, the point is, I am probably set now for a few years. But, I am keeping my fingers crossed that, when I do a big keyboard change (in a few years), Casio may have adopted my suggestion. Jeff
  12. Thanks so much for participating int his discussion. Chandler, let's say I have 750 songs. In any gig, the set list may include songs from several different data bases. So, it does not work to just change data bases depending for each gig or even between sets. I have to have quick access to all song set ups. Jokeyman (so glad you chimed in, I read your posts and have watched your videos), I do use two keyboards: a CTK7200 and a PX350 (I also use layers and splits, but, of course, that requires using up a Registration). It is a very good a versatile set up (and I use both pretty effectively, I think). I just wish I had quick access to all the registrations I could possibly want. At one point I tried to experiment whether I can have a midi commands (from Mobilesheets) to change each set up. I am still looking into this (though, even if it works, I do not love the idea of connecting another cable). (I don’t try to play recorded sequences and I do not try daisy chain.). The CTK7200 current has 16 banks of 6 registration buttons. If it had 999 banks and, instead of one bank button, it had 3 bank buttons (for 3 digits), this would be a huge benefit. I could quickly type in the bank I need (000 to 999) and then have the current 6 registration buttons for each bank. This would provide immediate access to 6,000 registrations (and up to 6 for any one song). (If it had 2 bank buttons 00-99, it would provide 600 registrations, which would go a long way. Of course, I'd prefer three buttons so I can exclusively use registrations without worrying about ever running out). For me this would be a big benefit. Jeff
  13. As a fan of Casio keyboards, I would still argue it would really help gigging musicians if they had immediate easy access to (virtually) unlimited Registrations without swapping banks. Thank you for responding to my posts. Jeff
  14. Thanks for responding, Roger. I am not so sure. It seems some of the more pro oriented players say that you should use Registrations almost exclusively for all your (pop/rock) songs. That way you can call them up quickly and you know they have all the settings you want for that song. I think anyone playing in rock/pop bands may play hundreds (or more) songs over their career. Also, I often need multiple registration slots for a single song because I can play several different sounds within any particular song (switching between synth sounds, string sounds, organs, etc.). Am I the only one the finds the limited number of registrations a constraint?
  15. I have a pretty simple request for future Casio Synth models. I play in a bunch of rock/pop cover bands. The pro type members here seemed to say (as I understand it) you should usually be dealing with saved Registrations, rather than presets or even user sounds. But, if you saved every sound from every song in a registrations, you would run out of them pretty quickly. And loading them from an SD card does not seem to helpful because it does not just add to the slots that are always accessible, but replaces the current bank. I don't see how I can keep track which when to swap out banks on the SD card in the middle of gigs. So, my request for future synths is virtually unlimited registration slots. (At least 1,000, but the more the better). If the cost of memory is the issue, let me save unlimited (or thousands of) registration on an SD card (I see ones for sale with up to a terabyte). Considering you are just keeping commands in memory (not actual audio or video), I do not think you really need that much memory to provide an virtually unlimited number of registrations slots. But, the key is you have to let me store thousands (optimally) of registrations on the card without having to swap out banks in the middle of a performance (all registrations should always be easily accessible). So, that's my request, for what it is worth. Thanks, Jeff
  16. Oogie, I just wanted to thank you for pointing that out. I am starting to use that option and it is better than scroll wheel. Thanks!
  17. For what it's worth, for me one of the biggest limitations of the CTK (and probably very inexpensive fix for Casio) is the limited number of Registration slots. Many musicians have many several hundreds of songs using multiple sounds. So, it would be easy to use over a thousand slots to have all songs programmed in Registrations. I generally do not use Registrations unless I need to (splits, layers, etc.) because I am concerned I will run out of Registration slots if I only used Registrations on every song. (And swapping out banks of Registrations on an SD card does not seem to be a good answer because I would have to make sure the particular registration setting works for every song I may play with a band). But, if I am missing something, I am all ears/eyes. Jeff
  18. Thanks, T. I know they are duplicates of presets. But, I am not sure which ones I had overwritten and use on songs I play. But, I suppose I could look through these user tones that I am not sure about (and most 10 of them) and search for them in the appendix. And if they are exactly the same as the the preset, then I can be pretty sure I did not create them to use them in any songs I do. (Although occasionally I might copy a near duplicate as a user tone so I can switch more quickly between different (for example) synth sounds (because takes too long to dial in different songs in the same bank).. In any event, now worries, thanks for responding. Jeff
  19. Yes, I am just looking to find out what the original user tones were in the CTK-7200. (really only needed for K:011 through K:20) Because I did not keep track of the ones I changed (the are noted in hundred of charts). So, I want to confirm which ones are mine and which were default user tones (again, I only need this for 10 default user tones: K:011 through K:020). Jeff
  20. Thanks, T. I actually have the paper one and looked through it. (And I just searched the electronic pdf too). But, unless I am missing something, it does not list the user tones. I just says something like: User Tone 1 [] User Tone 100 (presumably because the notion is you will just overwrite the user tones, which are duplicates preset tones] Jeff
