  1. Hi, Thank you for your in-depth response. As a complete newbie to digital keyboards, I know nothing of DSP and I will probably not need to use that functionality. It looks like CASIO have made DSP visible in the CT-X700 and CT-X800 models and documentation unnecessarily. But once again thank you.
  2. When I select some tones, the DSP lights up on the display. In the CT-X800 tone List Appendix, lots of tones have DSP in column 6, but I cannot find anywhere in the manual what this is or what it can be used for. Can anybody explain ?
  3. Brad, Thank you for clearing that up for me. Now I can stop pulling my hair out.
  4. Thank you Brad. It sort of works, but I have selected Tone=078(PipeOrg3) ,when I play the chord I don't get a Tone 078 chord, I get what sounds like piano/bass/strings? It seems irrelevant what tone I select, the chord always plays piano/bass/strings (it might be just piano+strings)
  5. Does anybody know how to enable Casio Chord Mode on a CT-X800? There is a Chord Mode button which lets you select the type of Chord Mode. When I set Chord Mode to "CASIO Cd" , I was expecting to play a chord in my chosen instrument by pressing one key at the lower end of the keyboard, similar to split mode, but I just get single notes?
  6. F#3 (F sharp 3) is the default Split Point. You can change the split point by pressing your key of choice, while pressing Split button at the same time.
