  1. Hi folks, I am getting ready to trade in my PX-160 and upgrade to a PX-360. I have a question about using the LINE OUT outputs. I was hoping to connect a small powered sub to the L/MONO line out connection. My thinking is that using a small sub in addition to the keyboard's built-in speakers will make the sound a little fuller by giving it a little more bottom end. However, there is something mentioned in the user guide that concerns me: "While sound output from the speakers is disabled, the digital piano automatically optimizes sound for headphones and LINE OUT listening. During speaker output, it automatically switches to optimization for listening with speakers." "When using the line out jacks, also connect headphones to the PHONES jacks. This will switch the LINE OUT output to appropriate sound quality." Can anyone provide some insight as to what this sound optimization is doing? Is the sound output being altered that much between the speakers vs. the line out jacks? What can I expect to happen if I hook up a sub as explained above?
