  1. thanks for the response Brad I looked through the manual and a looked through the midi appendix chart but I am still not understanding how to be able to control whatever sound I want from the PX-S3000 with my keystep 37 controller. i tried selecting tone while in the midi record function and the controller is still only controlling the piano sound and not the selected tone. i am sorry to be a pain in the you know what, but is there any further instructions you can provide? and just so we are not going back and forth for no reason, it is actually possible to be able to control any sound on the PSX3000 with a midi controller if i know the correct procedure?
  2. Bought the PX-S3000 almost a year ago. Still love it, still sounds Great! I just bought a midi host interface so i can control my PX-S3000 with the new Keystep 37 i just got. The keystep controls it fine. Prefect no latency or anything. Only issue is that i can only control the piano sound through the midi from the keystep. If i change the sound on the PXS the keystep is still only controlling the piano sound. the sound will be changed on the Casio's keyboard but not through Midi. Any one have this issue before or know a solution? i have looked around in the manual and on google but i can't seem to find anything. Please help!! one of the main reasons i got the Keystep was to control all the sounds on PXS and use the arp, chord, and sequence features on the keystep.
  3. Loved the live stream the other day with Mike and Rich. They showed a lot of great features. Rich showcased a lot of great interesting sounds he made using different DSPs and the Arpeggiator. They briefly talked how he did it but went over it way to fast It would be nice if they can do a live stream showing how to use the arp and other DSP to create some amazing sounds and synths like Rich had made Also, I hope they upload all the sounds they showcased on the tone editing livestream to the forum to be downloaded
  4. I wish I could join live. ill be at work. well I can prob come on for a few minutes. will it be uploaded to youtube for viewing at a later time?
  5. my apologies Brad. I first posted it here. then I realized there was another category just for the Chordana app and thought it would be best to post there I just really want Casio to consider this. it would be a huge improvement in creating great sounds easily
  6. -add ability to select our own 4 dsp effects and chain them in any order we please -add ability to edit all dsp's and all dsp parameters with Chordana app -show the names of the actually DSP parameters you are controlling for each tone when on knob setting 14, currently it just says "dsp parameter 1 & dsp parameter 2" which sucks because I would like to know what they are controlling and it would be nice to be able to assign knobs to any DSP parameter we choose
  7. I was just messing around with some clean guitar tones and then started adding different effects and amp cabinets and you can get some really Great guitar tones. they sound so realistic and some even seem to overdrive or distort a little bit the harder you press the key just like strumming a guitar harder. I was really surprised at all the different paraments you can actually control within each DSP effect. It was just a bit cumbersome navigating some of the menus and doing some long presses to access certain functions. I have gotten used to it now but I see how this can inhibit/detour people from actually trying and editing some of the dsp effects. it would be SO Amazing if this ever can be added to the Chordana Play app
  8. I was messing with some pad sounds and I was just checking all the different knob assignment settings and testing their effect on different tones. I used all of the 14 knob combination and was getting a crazy sound and effects on a synth pad, but when I just changed back to the base piano sound wanting to refresh all of the effects that I have adjusted using the 14 knob assignments, all the adjustments and effects I created using the knobs have stayed and were affecting the piano I switched to. Is this supposed to happen or is there away to clear all effects besides power cycling??
  9. This topic came up in another thread. I was just curious if anyone has or knows of a chart for what are the functions of the dsp parameters 1 & 2 knob controls are for each tone? This would be so helpful. Hopefully they can update this to display on screen instead of just saying "dsp parameter 1" while adjusting knobs in a future firmware update
  10. I am surprised Casio did not add a just Delay module. if you want Delay you need to select a multi module DSP that has Delay and bypass the other DSP's just to get a delay. which is odd because Delay is on of the top effects everyone want. Chorus, reverb delay
  11. no the screen just displays DSP parameter 1 & dsp parameter 2 when adjusting knobs
  12. Looks like Roland copied Cassio's new PX S3000 series at this years NAMM. Roland is releasing the RD88 which is a slim digital piano with similar functions as the PX S
  13. IS there a chart that tells you what parameters in each DSP are effected when you select knob function 14? like what parameters does DSP parameters 1 knob and DSP parameters 2 knob effect for each dsp?
  14. Looking through the manual I see the list for the 100 DSP Effects. On the page after that there is a list of 24 DSP modules. It says number 21 is delay. Where/how can I access this delay?
