  2. I think it might depend on the specific drum sound being played; a crash cymbal will continue in the next variation. So you could just record it fractionally before the end of the Fill, and the human ear will hear it coming on the beat at the start of the Variation. Quantisation will definitely need to be OFF for you to record in this way.
  3. It's a good question. I presume you mean a rapid repeated picking. The Pipa has a tremolo variant (PI PA 3) so why doesn't guitar? You could select any of the Nylon guitar sounds and turn Arpeggiator to "Repeat" and tempo up to maximum. It's not a perfect solution because you can't do anything else that needs tempo (e.g. rhythms). Other than that, I'm not sure..
  4. Hi androidalp, This is a sub-forum specifically for CT-X keyboards. You might find better help for your keyboard at the CTS pages. I don't use musescore so can't help you there, but when I plug a CT-X3000 into ubuntu 20 it immediately enumerates as /dev/midi1 without problem. I can then run commands like cat /dev/midi1 > 1.bin amidi -p hw:1,0 -d etc. Do those types of commands run for your system, or do they exit immediately with an error?
  5. Hi Randelph, I know what you mean about the Part/Mixer being a blur. I've used the keyboard for a while now, and I still get thrown by the way that Part and Mixer do very similar things but navigate completely differently. That part of the UI could really have been much more consistent. Brad has answered most of your questions well. There's a trick to getting the numeric keys to enter numbers; in most situations where the rotary dial selects a number, you can also enter "0" and then type three digits. For example, to enter "55", you type 0-0-5-5. It took me ages before I discovered that trick, and it really speeds up changing a bunch of numbers from 0 to 127 or vice-versa.
  6. Just out of curiosity, what's an example of a 2-note polyphonic sounds? I've come across some of the monophonic ones in the Synth1 and Synth2 categories .. (I like it actually, it feels more like a genuine emulation of some of the classic synths).
